Look at the difference between Alita and Captain Marvel..The first is relatable and someone you cheer for.

The analogy would be, "What if somebody sat down to write a movie and they thought, 'I want my main character to wear a black leather trenchcoat and shades.' Would that person wind up writing a movie as good as the Matrix? No, because the *point* isn't the trenchcoat. The *point* is the nature of reality, rising to potential, and achieving spiritual enlightenment and liberation from totalitarian corruption - and on and on into the depths of The Matrix's themes.
