I used to read superhero comics when I was a kid, I loved the mutants franchise, and I remember how they used to exercise regularly. Bad physical condition cripples you both physically and mentally, no matter what wonderful super powah you have.
Or Buffy, for example, which until season 5 was an example of female superhero well done. And guess what? you had Giles making her train on a regular basis, even though she had superpowers.

I saw this... the idea of it was funny for a few seconds until you realize that this is more PC woke agenda-pushing by Hollywood to make obesity seem "cool".
It's pretty disgusting, especially given that the average American is already grossly overweight and the obesity epidemic isn't subsiding in any conceivable way.
It would be one thing if these were films about fat people where it basically goes "being fat is bad and getting in shape is good!" but it's usually the opposite, and I doubt that the end of the film will them meeting a Jenny Craig coach to lose some weight and turn hot. Instead I'm sure they'll waste five minutes moralizing how you should "be yourself" and never let "society judge" you for how you look, and they will unsuspectingly embrace their arch nemesis, Diabetes, who is inevitably waiting for them with pulmonary heart disease and blood clots.
