Dragon fire = exploding buildings??

Definitely not a big problem. Compared to the writing at least... But since when did dragon fire literally explode brick/concrete solid structures??
I got (or thought I knew) why the zombi dragon could be blasting those other walls apart. Because the wall was made of ice, and he’s a zombi Night King dragon with blue fire, right?

But now the dragon is just obliterating everything on screen. It’s just fire, right? Very hot dragon fire, yes. But just fire?

Castles were mostly made by just laying stone on stone. Some cement was used for the essential parts but i take it the dragon fire has a serious amount of pressure behind that can easily move all those bricks. And who knows what else kind of magic is around dragons in the GOT universe.

That last part I don't know. But air heated to several thousand degrees, hotter than a normal fire, does expand violently and might be capable of toppling a stone edifice made of blocks. Air between the blocks is shock heated and expands outward forcing them apart.

She wasn't just pouring some lighter fluid on them and dropping a match. She was blasting them with napalm from a dragon. Mostly the buildings collapsed from the mortar failing, and flew apart from the pressure of the dragon blasts.

Didn’t you guys notice that some flames in certain scenes were also green?!

Green flames means Wildfire.

“Wildfire is a flammable liquid which is created and controlled by the Alchemists' Guild, an ancient society of learned men using arcane knowledge and is now based in the city of King's Landing. Wildfire is a highly volatile material; when ignited, it can explode with tremendous force and the resulting fire burns so hot that water cannot extinguish it. Only by smothering the flames with large quantities of sand can they be put out.”

I assume when parts of the fire was green it was when dragon hit the places where they stashed Wildfire and the flames mixed together, making them more devastating.

I just came across this article where they have a theory it was the Wildfire secretly stashed under the buildings from time when the Mad King (Danaerys’ father) wanted to burn King’s Landing.

Yes. I totally did notice that, and thought it was awesome they put that in there. Thanks for the article, I’ll check it out.

You’re welcome. 😃 Yes, that was awesome. Shame there wasn’t more if it, Wildfire looks cool. I wonder why Cersei didn’t use it for her advantage. 🤔

Dragons are real?

Fire has never acted normally in this show. In Season 1, a normal coal and wood fire is able to melt gold in seconds. Later, when Dany builds Drogo's funeral pyre, she uses what looks like half a mile of wood and brush, and the fire goes through it all in mere seconds, when it normally should take at least a couple of minutes. In Season 7, the weird human flesh spiral used on poor Ned Umber is also ignited in seconds, when it should have taken longer than Drogo's pyre.

But when Melisandre burns Selyse's brother -- and later, Shireen -- the fire takes a couple of minutes to go through the pyres, as it normally does in the real world. And we haven't been told anything to make us believe that Melisandre's torch wasn't made from anything different than Dany's, Beric's, or Drogo's.

So given all those inconsistencies, I'm just going with this one. There are other issues I have with the plot -- like how did Arya manage to survive when LITERALLY everyone around her dies -- but this one I'm just going to roll with this one.
