You guys are crying over a stupid dog?

You don't own a dog do you? And if you do, then you are a cold-hearted person and probably never loved it. I got my first yellow lab 12 yrs ago, she is just like one of the family, one of my children who I will love, cherish, and eventually will miss terribly for the rest of my life.

Lol... the OP was so dramatic... But, as reading the replies I see that a lot of people in here sees dogs as human children!! That's not really good, they're animals!! I know, they have some simple feelings and all, (and you love them, grieve them when they're gone), but to value more a dog's life than a human's one? =S... You people speak of humans as if all of us were criminals or something... Sorry, but I just don't like people "humanising" dogs...

The first post in this thread is pitiful. When someone has a dog, or any pet for that matter, they love them like a human member of the family. The dog is not thought of as an object, like you seem to think of them.

Though, I'm tempted to say that that guy was just trolling, so I'll have to force myself to stop there.

Wow...you talk about people with feelings and a conscience. It sounds like you lack both of those things.
Yes, I do agree that we need to do something about the people who are starving and dying of horrible diseases, it is awful and needs to be solved. But animals also have feelings and, in some way, a conscience. They are just as much alive as any person is, and love unconditionally the way that some people never can. I think it is admirable for people to cry over "a lousy dog." It is a life, he was their family member, and as somebody who went through an experience very much like this, it is heartbreaking. You lose a family member when this happens. So shame on you.

Hey, Darth - I challenge you to watch a MASH episode from the 6th season called "Images" in where the character Nurse Major 'Hot Lips' Margaret Houlihan said nearly the exact same words... "I've got people dying around me... why should I get upset about a little dog?"

There are people out there, yes PEOPLE who have feelings and a conscience dying out there, there are children starving to death and you're crying over a lousy dog? Shame on you.

I dont know what it is but i get more upset about a animal dieing then a human
