For those of you that have watched all Rambo Films was Rambo 4 better than Rambo 5?
Was is better to stop at Rambo 4 or was Rambo 5 a satisfying conclusion?
Rambo 4 was the perfect ending.

shareI liked them both quite a bit but prefer Rambo: Last Blood as the Mexican drug cartel plot felt sort of current. The only Rambo film I didn't love was Rambo III and even that was pretty good. I'll always prefer First Blood most and the novel is very good but quite a bit different than the screenplay.
shareI agree. III is like a weaker retread of II.
IV and V are about equal, I love them both, maybe Last Blood even more because it’s wonderfully violent and doesn’t use obvious CGI blood.
Rambo 4 felt more like a true Rambo movie. Rambo 5 kind of felt like the movie Taken with Liam Neeson
shareIt should have ended with part 4. It was the perfect way to end the franchise. He finally went home.
