Is only me, or Reeves is usless as an actor?

It's very funny to see Reeves gives behind of the scenes interviews, I'm not dissing him, but it's hilarious to see the fact that he don't really understands any of the movies he works in. He gives sort of "Cool Jock" interpretation of his own movies, like: "Yeah we got all these cool slow-motion scenes and crazy stunts its a great movie" on matrix and so on.

Now, Keanu isn't a bad person or a lazy actor. He seems to really push himself when the movie deals with action scenes and choreography, but as far as you know, acting and understanding his roles... I really think he misses the mark big time.

Here is a funny thing.
I'm a brazilian, so, many of the movies we watch on TV are dubbed. It's fantastic to see how far the voice actors go trying to make Keanu sound more emotional. It was sort of disapointing when I bought Bram Stoker's Dracula and watched it with original english audio, I couldn't understand why the movie didn't felt so good as the dubbed version... and when I rewatched it dubbed I got it, it was Keanu's lack of emotion.

Useless?
You know, according to some here, Al Pacino and Robert De Niro are HORRIBLE actors. Because they are who they are all the time, in all the movies, never show anything different... f-ck. I get it, Reeves has no flexibility, so what? He's perfect for certain roles and he is perfect in this movie.

Keeanu is gold. Action, Comedy, Drama, Horror,Sci-Fi, Shakespeare, Rom Comedy...you name it, he's done it. One of my fav actors - only idiots can't get by his voice lol

In no way is it only you. Anyone who thinks Reeves' acting is even mildly acceptable , must be suffering from.....something.

His performance here....I mean c'mon talk about YAWN. Honestly. Mark Wahlberg Ala Four Brothers would have been an infinitely better fit here. It isn't really close, either.

Useless may be pushing it, but he's not a 'good' actor by any means. He inspires no one. As a young actor, I've always enjoyed watching films, taking away bits & pieces from well played roles, to of course practice & expand my own range.

There is nothing to take away from this Keeanu Reeves performance. Very bland. I could hardly buy it. I'll reiterate, that Mark Wahlberg, even if he played the exact same character from Four Brothers, would have been a far greater fit.
