Okay, rather than posting whenever I send the script to someone just check on the board above, which I will edit everyday, to see if you are one of the people who I have sent the script to. If your username is not listed, the script has not been sent to you. If you are not on there just let me know and I would love to send it out.
As to MattBomerFanGirl,
I am really glad that you like "The Family in the Hills" scripts, the three scripts which I believe are my most original and fun. However, I am currently unable to send these scripts to you because I am still in the editing stages of writing them. They have been written, but I do not feel comfortable sending these out to people for two reasons;
1. Although they have been written, I have not fully edited them all the way through.
2. Unlike "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Legacy", "Friday the 13th: The Homecoming", and "The Hills Have Eyes 3", which are fan scripts I have written, "The Family in the Hills" is completely original characters which I own and are not fan scripts. Due to copyright laws, it would be nearly impossible for me to post these scripts on the internet where any can read them. If you would like to read, I have provided a brief synopsis below about each script.
"The Family in the Hills" Trilogy
"The Family in the Hills" - The first of the three stories takes place in Chattanooga Valley, Georgia, in January of 1977. The plot is structured to pay tribute to classic thrillers and horror films of the 1970's, such as "Deliverance", "The Hills Have Eyes", and "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" where a group of kids are tormented by a sadistic family of social outcasts who happen to be living in the Georgia mountains (hence the title 'Family in the Hills'). Although this sounds like a copy of the films listed above, it is not at all and much of the story revolves around social and economic problems throughout the 1970's, and the story and scenes are structured in a way that important songs of the 1960's/70's would play a huge role. The story is also written in a dark, dry, and grainy way leaving the audience with a disturing pit in their stomachs. Also, much like the films of the 1970's, this story revolves around the character's emotions and personal lives, which drive the plot more than the murders which occur. Other films that have tributes are "Halloween", "Dirty Harry" series, "The Godfather", "Straw Dogs", "The Last House on the Left", "Rocky", "Raging Bull", "Marathon Man", and mostly "The Deer Hunter".
"Family Feud: The Family in the Hills 2" - This sequel is more violent than the original but its violence doesn't have the impact because it is also more absurd, much like the violence of 1980's horror films. And that's its point, to pay tribute to the campy era of horror, such as "Friday the 13th", "A Nightamre on Elm Street", "Prom Night", "Child's Play", "Slumber Party Massacre", "Just Before Dawn", "Sleepaway Camp", and countless others. The story picks up in June 1989 Hollywood, where the surviving family members from the first have taken cover in the city life and have been able to stay cool. But a murder places a detective hot on their trail, and leads them on the run with a bus full of young, beautiful Hollywood talent into the desert. However the real story picks up when the family themselves are attacked by inbred mutated people living in desert just east of Los Angeles. The bloody battle really gets underway as both the family and the mutants fight each other and begin to hunt down the kids who are caught in the crossfire. This story also has important songs, but the songs are much campier with their scenes and will almost make you laugh. This sequel is a more enjoyable and entertaining splatter flick that takes movies like "Rambo", "Predator", "Terminator", "The Breakfast Club", "Batman", and "Alien" and grabs them by the balls, not letting go and mocking them in the process.
"Family Reunion: The Family in the Hills III" - The third (and hopefully final) part of the series starts at a college campus in New England in 1998, where the final two family members are trying to redeem their past by starting over. They haven't killed since the last story and are try to start over with new romances and by actually helping people get through rough times. But just when they thought it was finally over, a serial killer on the campus begins murdering people using past serial killer's MO's, and one of those MO's leads back to the family's original murders, which leads the two family members to get arrested. But after a breakout, the family's out on one last road to catch a killer, outsmart the police, and go down in history as the people who just couldn't escape their bloody pasts. "Scream", "I Know What You Did Last Summer", "Die Hard", "Urban Legend", "Titanic", "Mission: Impossible", "Sleepers", "Lethal Weapon", "Batman Returns", "Basic Instinct", "Seven", "Silence of the Lambs", and of course "Forest Gump" all have references, with some good 90's songs to keep the story moving.
