Carl and Ellie in 'Up'. TBH, I'm a sentimental old fool, I cry at anything, but, this did nothing for me. Just the thought of the first 15 minutes of 'Up' sets the waterworks off, dry as a bone for The Notebook
I am a four eyed evil genius.
twilight :))) haha just kidding
A walk to remember
and.. Though none go with me
Toy Story
sharewithout reading this thread I put mine at:
1. Casablanca
2. Gone with the Wind
3. Titanic
4. Once
5. 10 Things I Hate about You
I think the Notebook falls just out of the top 5, similar to the move Love Story.
Splendor in the Grass
Gone with the Wind and Casablanca are favorites of mine but I am very surprised that no one has mentioned Dr. Zhivago. Seems that all the greatest love stories involve war!
"It's not an old movie if you haven't seen it." Lauren Bacall
It doesn't have to be war, we girls love drams and we are suckers of doomed romances, war it's just one setting to create that doomed romance
But anyway I made a list of great romances set in war Times
