other good con movies

Does anybody else know of any other good con movies?
So far I have seen:

Matchstick Men
The Sting
Confidence

No one mentioned Prime Gig with Vince Vaughn, Ed Harris and Julia Ormond. The movie was a bit slow at times but I really enjoyed it. The ending really makes the movie imo.

I liked the usual suspects. Kevin Spacey was awesome in this movie.

The Usual Suspects
Catch Me If You Can
Foolproof
Shade
Ocean's 11
Ocean’s 12
The Good Thief
The Sting
Jackie Brown
The Thomas Crown Affair
After The Sunset
Matchstick Men
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels
Charade (it sucks)
The Spanish Prisoner
The Grifters
Paper Moon
Miller's Crossing
Entrapment (kinda)
House of Games

Hustle is one of the greatest shows I have ever seen. Does anyone know when it is on nowadays?

It seems that rory-devaney has got it covered, summing up a pretty long thread. But others that I have seen on the thread that weren't in the "comprehensive" list are:

Lock, Stock and 2 Smoking Barrels
Snatch
Bandits
Heist
Inside Man

Any of these I recomend, as they all are fun flicks. Personally, I think LS2SB had the best twist at the end and I really enjoyed Inside Man.

Also, I'm not sure Out of Sight qualifies as a "con" movie. There's no real deception here (everyone knows where everyone stands), it's just an elaborate heist flick. However, unlike most, I rather liked it, and thought Clooney was pretty good. Of course, I will admit that I am a little partial to it because I read Elmore Leonard's novel that the film was based on (same title) several years earlier when it came out.

"Gentlemen, you can't fight in here. This is the War Room."

you should see "Nueve reinas"(argentina), it's the original version of "Criminal"...and it's really better, and one of the best con movies i've seen.

The Score

Try the The Whole Nine Yards with Bruce Willis... sorta good humorous con film I reckon..

The Usual Suspects(a known classic). Criminal...Starring John C Reilly and Diego Luna is one of my favorites.

Another great con/farce movie is Quick Change - Bill Murray on top form.

reply

The French original (Hold up) was better, though. Quick Change is just a remake for the American audience.

reply

Not movies, I know, but for consistent Cons with a twist I'd recommend the BBC series "Hustle" - available on DVD. Good production values.

What about Primal Fear, April Fool’s Day, The Life of David Gale, Consenting Adults? Not all necessarily "con" movies but who cares if the characters are conning each other or conning us the viewers. I just like twisty endings.
