I do not see myself watching the show anymore the same way I did back in the day. Every time Chloe will be onscreen I will not be able not to think about how she his faking the nice girl routine and she abused tons of women. Like Cosby show, sometime I just cannot separate the actor from the role.

This is a woman known for being probably the best and realest side kick of any superhero show to date. And yet. And yet she is a real life villain. It's a tragedy. It hurts to watch.
shareShe might also be a victim. I'm not saying she's innocent, but the more information that comes out about Nxvim, it does make me wonder. Cults are tricky. Hearing from women who were in DOS and the collateral they had to provide for secrecy, who knows what Keith had on Allison. Again, it doesn't make her innocent, but maybe it's not so black and white.

Yep, I really feel for Allison, anyone can fall for a con-man she's not the first that's for sure. I hope that Keith Raniere spends the rest of his life in prison.
shareI'm not sure about that, personally I always have a hard time in believing in brainwashing of that sorts on adults (Grooming from a child is a different thing altogether) . She was a grown woman, yeah she might have fallen in love but the things she done are not excusable in any way or form. Adults that partake in a sects and do vile acts already have a bad streak in them , the sect just awake that in them.

I do, however, think Keith Raniere began the chain of events that triggered her insanity. She was messed up by him.
Still hasn't put me off watching re-runs. I just imagine that her heart ache over Clark pushed her over the edge and into the sex cult.
I never liked her character, she wasn't a DC Superman character so she didn't belong. Her fans were toxic and they never liked Superman to begin with.

shareCame to post the same thing. I always hated Cloe anyway. Not because she wasn't a Superman character; new characters are made all the time (Harley Quinn) but she was just annoying. They tried to make her much more important than she was and over stayed her welcome.
I can completely separate the two personas (character and real person) and enjoy the show regardless of what became of her after. If we stopped watching every show because of the real actor's issues, we wouldn't' be watching anything ever.
That's too bad for you then.
