25 year old being able to pass as high schooler?

I don't know if I could buy into this. But most of the cast playing high schoolers were much older except for LeeLee and Jessica Alba so Drew playing a high schooler blended right in as most of the cast was much older playing high school age. LOL

Would you believe it if a 25 year old walked into your high school and said "hi, I am 17 and new" like almost ten years older than the last year of high school age? She wore no makeup but I don't know if this was realistic for her to pass herself off as high school age. Guy was even older in real life than Drew and I don't know if he really could have passed as high school age. His face did not have that young boyish look high school guys have. It looked young but aging more than a high school kid LOL

Dave Arguette was the biggest joke going back to high school. He clearly looked 28-32. LIKE wtf??

I'm old and people always think I'm in high school...but I'm also 4'11, so it depends on the person I guess.

I'm also 4'10'' tall and I'm 26 years old. I always get mistaken for a teenager 13 at the youngest it can be a bit annoying and people are shocked when I tell them how old I am.

Some people look really young. When I was 25, I could pass for 17. I'm 35 now, and I still get carded often in liquor stores so I guess I still look young hehe!

There is a woman who works in the dental hygenist's office near me, and I had always assumed she was around 26 or 27. She literally has the voice of a teenager also! One day we were talking, and she said "Oh boy, when I turned 40..."
I was shocked!!!!! I NEVER would think she was even in her 30s!

I'm 21, almost 22, which isn't that much of a difference, but people are so shocked because they think I'm 15, 16 ... I can't even get into R rated movies without an ID. Once, a liquor store wouldn't even accept my ID, saying that it must just be fake. I don't understand it. Someone said it was genetics, but my family actually mostly looks pretty much older than they are, with dry skin too, and I'm not short either. I'm 5'7", which is pretty tall for a girl. Smoking and other chemicals I've put in my body and stuff I've done to it are not good for my skin either, so ... I just don't, don't understand ... I'm never treated like an adult, or like I'm not in high school.

I'm 25 and most people think I'm like 14 or 15. I am carded all the time, I pretty much pull my ID out even before I order any alcoholic drinks because people always assume I'm younger. I'd totally be able to pass for a highschooler.

There are alot of 25 year olds who look younger.

I'm 23 and I constantly get mistaken as anywhere from 14-16. I am super short with a young face so it happens. I know a few people who are in their twenties and who look like teenagers as well. It's not that rare.

I'm almost 28, and my husband is 29. Legal age for buying alcohol here is 18. We both get checked for IDs when we buy alcohol, but other people don't. When I was 22 years old, I was eating dinner at a restaurant with my family for mother's day, and one of the waitresses who was about 17 years old asked me if I wanted a balloon. 12 year olds would find balloons lame, so I have to wonder how old she actually thought I was.

Yes, I still know people today that are in their late 20s and look like they're in high school. I mean, if they put on the right clothes and hair cut they could easily pass as minors, no questions asked.

Also, in high school there were students that looked way past their college years. Specially the tall football jocks that appeared to look much older than 25 due to their roughness. Also, some girls looked older than 25 as well, due to the makeup and everything.

I think that it all depends on your genes, attitude and fashion to fit a certain way.

I always hear about people complaining of these mid 20s actors playing high school kids in films, but to be honest they do look like high school kids! It's not hard to believe it. I mean, middle school is a different thing, now by then I could draw a line. But once you're 16-19 you pretty much have reached a look that wont really change unless your hair style and clothing style changes.

When I was 24/25 (I'm now 30), I was walking through my local Walmart and got stopped by a woman and some teenaged girls handing out free samples. They told me, here! We'll get you ready for prom! I stopped, stunned and stammered that I didn't go to school anymore. They told me I could have them anyway. I told them they made my day and when they asked how, I told them my age and that I had a 4 year old at home and I had been out of school close to ten years. LOL So, yeah, I can see a 25 year old still passing for a highschooler.

What did you do, Ray?

I buy it. I'm 24 and regularly get mistaken for no older than 18. The other day I was buying firecrackers for the 4th and the check out girl asked if I was 18. Not at least 18, just 18. I said actually, I'm 24 and she was taken aback. She's just a few out of many that have had that reaction when I tell people my real age.

I suspect the 18 is only because they know I have a driver's license and can purchase R-Rated movies otherwise they'd think I was even younger. I could walk into any high school and fit right in with the senior class. Hell I probably look younger than half of them.

This is not a good thing though. People still treat me as the younger age, not my real age, so I often get condescended to by my own peers, and little teenage boys try to hit me up for my number. UGH.

i was born premature & so i've always been small & i'm 20 but i still look twelve years old lol, people tell me i'll appreciate the "young look" when i get older, but for NOW, the present day i really hate it. i don't even have boobs xD it's hard to feel like a woman when you don't feel or look like one. meh :(
