What an annoying soundtrack...
In the first scene the music fit, but after sometime it got just too overbearing. Halfway in I wanted to stab my already-busted eardrums, it was SOOO loud and annoying. :(

shareMaybe it was an attempt at camp, which was kind of the vibe I got from the beginning title card (Serious quote blahblah..."Eat Me") and the cheesy font they used for the title.
share"The op is a tasteless *beep*
But we all know that."
Nothing a little salt and pepper couldn't remedy.. ;)
On a more serious note though, I think music is often a big contributor to the general atmosphere of a movie. In this one, it is definitely something that made me love the movie that much more.. I found it just perfect.
Another one of my favorite movies is Hellraiser. The soundtrack to that is just as amazing and sets the entire atmosphere.
thought the music was great
shareSORRY love the music
shareI couldn't disagree more. This is one of those soundtracks I actively sought out after the film had finished. Actually one of the most memorable soundtracks to a movie I've ever heard.
Before I travelled my road I was my road.
Bull to the locks,
The soundtrack left the biggest impression with me and I remember buying it right after I was done watching my VHS rental of this flick. Too bad it didn't have a big theater run because I would have loved to see it on the big screen.
Chalk me up as someone who really enjoyed the soundtrack. I thought it was one of the best parts of the film...
sharei'm only four minutes in with the second "song" which this awfully annoying banjo picking and stupid fake string instruments and then some fake horns. this thread is killing me with laughter; half must be trolls saying they paid for the soundtrack.
i brush my teeth to this soundtrack.
That music is just awesome! I was stunned through the whole movie because the music was so great.
YES, the banjo "riff" is out of tune at one note (the second one), but that is the point with the song. Very uniqe soundtrack to a very unique movie.
I loved the movie and the music so it's 10/10 for me!
