What an annoying soundtrack...

In the first scene the music fit, but after sometime it got just too overbearing. Halfway in I wanted to stab my already-busted eardrums, it was SOOO loud and annoying. :(

count me in as someone who thoroughly enjoys the soundtrack but hasn't even seen the movie. I know the music from this video: http://youtube.com/watch?v=L6RSD8m_QOQ

Dude - you couldn't be more wrong. The music was perfect. It was so well done - it almost felt as if the soundtrack played a character in the movie. It truly gave a great impression on the atmosphere of the scene(s).

Great, original score, I must say. Probably one of the only good soundtracks to come out over the last twenty years.

Strange... I found the soundtrack is what separated this from any other film ever made. It was the reason I remembered it after ten years and the reason why I love it so much.

Many other things are factors of course, but the music was just the absolute best part of the whole thing.

The -only- track I didn't particularly agree with is the 'Run' scene's music. It wasn't bad necessarily, but it was a bit -too- light. It almost made light of the entire film. But, since some of that was intentional, and since it made up for it immediately after... I wasn't too bothered.

But yeah... I imagine a lot of people may be turned off by this film's soundtrack, but... I just found the music was the greatest aspect it had.

LOLOL

did you see it in the Theatre' or something?

I'm listening to the soundtrack right now, actually, at my desk at work. Getting some strange looks, too, but I can deal with that.

Great movie, superb soundtrack!

I just got done watching the movie for the first time and i loved it, especially the soundtrack. I will probably be humming that song for some time to come. Its awesome.

The soundtrack is a bit odd and even jarring at times, but even from the first viewing I thouught the music added to the movie. I find that it adds wheight and a certain humor to the horror. It was psychotic, as is the story as it unfolds. It's unique, scary, funny, sad and intriguing. The music, along with the dark humor and vampire-ish lore is what makes me smile and cringe at this movie. Basically, the music fits the movie, and I think most fans find that the music is what draws them in for it is so in your face and unignorable, as is its cannablism/vampire theme.

LOL I absolutely love the sound track to this movie. It absolutely adds to the over all tone of madness and a little bit of dark humor that this film does such a good job at portraying.

Sharikazoid you are not alone mate, I completely agree!

It's been a long time since I've heard music so out of place in a film.

IMO the music completely destroyed any atmosphere or suspense the film was trying to build up.

I have absolutely no idea how this film got a Horror/Thriller tag because it wasn't even remotely scary!

You probably have too generic of an ear for music. Most the music in this movie doesn't follow an 8 count beat like almost every other song in the world. It goes 4, then 5 then maybe 3. Its weird, and a perfect fit because its a weird movie. Which I loved, and own.
