We see Scream 2 playing on the tv in one scene in this movie and i always found it dumb as hell. Cause they are watching the original Halloween in the 1st Scream and talk about it several times, so the Halloween movies exist in the Scream universe and the Scream movies exist in the Halloween universe? huh?

Halloween in Halloween III makes much more sense. The series was going to become an anthology series with a completely different story told in each subsequent sequel. Because the masses were too stupid to accept a Halloween movie without Michael Myers, the idea was scrapped.

shareYeah, it made no sense. I think people already pointed this out back in the day. I also thought it was rather disrespectful. Don't get me wrong, I love Scream, moreso than Halloween, but Halloween came first and served as a inspiration for Scream. It doesn't need anything like that.

There are a million potential BS explanations that could eliminate this plot hole
But that's not necessary cause it was just a little Easter egg that didn't affect the story
