No kidding. If you ask me, Debra is too good to Ray. If you watched every episode, Ray's motivation in his marriage is pretty much banging Debra. He even kept a fight between his mother and his wife going so he could talk her into angry sex..

The better question is why would hot women settle for shlub men? Ray obviously knows sports but does not seem insightful enough to be a journalist. He is a half dozen steps above his real life pay grade and makes it obvious while at home. Both Ray and King would have someone closer to Rosanne Barr (circa 1988 before cosmetic work not that it helped much) for a wife than what they got.
