It is always in the rotation anytime I have regularly watched the series.
Excellent episode and excellent performance by Masur. Actors on average then did not want to play intellectually challenged characters but Masur gave a professional portrayal.
Don't blink or you will miss Gary Busey as a radio operator in a PBY.
People get lucky. He projects a certain air that producers and directors feel that they need. It's not like he made many millions acting nor won an Oscar or Emmy.

Robin was in the 1940's serials and in the comic books well before the 1966 series. The way Hollywood works I would sooner accept an explanation that they did not want to pay a major salary to have Robin be in a movie. Artistic concerns would be secondary to that.
Once per season was enough for Flagg. His shtick was not so deep that it would hold up to regular viewing.
Are we so sure that Pierce would pass on Trump who promised and kept his promise on no new foreign wars? Radar's Uncle Ed ruled the household and if he said vote Trump then Radar would do so. Trapper always gave a vibe that a woman's place was in the kitchen or the bedroom so no Clinton. Not a give me that Hunnicutt would vote for Clinton.
