Very huge pile of inaccurate horseshit from start to finish, it really is quite laughable.

Along with hating the Jews, Gibson certainly does hate the English too.

About 20% of it is accurate, the other 80% is Mel Gibson's ego trip.

I suspect if the real William Wallace stood next to Mel Gibson all dressed up as the character, he'd have a good laugh and make fun of how much of a short ragamuffin savage Gibson appeared to him. Then Mel Gibson would make fun of Will's pageboy haircut and wearing "tights."

It’s called historical fiction. And it’s pretty good historical fiction.

Amadeus, Gladiator, Forrest Gump and Titanic are also historical fictions that are well regarded.

They effectively granted them their own sovereign state by promising them land in Palestine, as per the Balfour Declaration of 1917...
