New XFiles 'with a diverse cast' coming from Creed/Black Panthers Ryan Coogler

Apparently Hollywood hasn't learned anything form the female Ghostbusters bullshit. Diverse cast when the original cast was a male and female makes me wonder what these idiots have in mind, will it just be race swaps or will they be doing tranny-files. Frankly when I read it, I was reminded of Richard Pryor's bit on the Exorcist where as soon as something spooky happened the black would be gone.

Hopefully we will see two negro woman leads!

If you bring nothing different to the table except race swapping the cast there's no point in doing this.

In a nutshell the only projects that obtain funding are woke projects with the required negro lead, trans, gay, evil whites etc! We live in strange times.

From Coogler I would want more Creed 1 and less superhero nonsense. Also less films with an agenda.

It's gonna be hot trash. But I hope it's a continuation of the X-Files and not a reboot. I don't actually understand diverse casting for a show like this because conspiracy theory is whack job white people fantasy stuff.

More diverse? Looks like someone hasn't watched the show. Sure, the two leads are white, but everyone else is diverse. Even when we are talking about characters that are only around for one episode (because of Mulder and Scully constantly going to different towns/cities and states, especially for the monster of the week episodes). Plus Scully might be white, but she is a complete badass at times. She may not seem like it, but when Mulder is around, she can be tough and can step up on the investigation. She's not someone you want to mess with or upset. And if she has to return to you to get further information out of you, especially if you lied, watch out. She is someone you better cooperate with the first time. I started watching The X-Files back in December 2022 (maybe after Christmas) or early January 2023, currently on Season 4 at the time of this comment being written, and there were a few times that I was rooting for Scully. Plus calling her a badass or someone to not f'k with. She is also good at (figuratively) knocking some sense into Mulder and a few other male characters. She has definitely become one of my favorite female characters. Oh and she can carry the plot/a scene/maybe even the whole episode when Mulder isn't around/present. She is complete badass. Also, there are times where I'm scratching my head because I can't decided if I like Mulder or Scully more. I'd say that's a pretty good female character when something like that happens. But yeah. The X-Files is diverse enough. Sorry that the two leads are white. Get over it.
