What characters in this show annoyed you? The only thing that bothered me about it was the Buttons and Mindy cartoon, because in every episode, Mindy would do something dangerous or naughty, and Buttons would get the blame. Yet, I think all the other cartoons were hilarious!

To be honest, those characters who I truly disliked were Mime and Chicken Boo. Both of them were grating, unappealing and just plain stupid. Which frankly made me cringe everytime they were on. Otherwise, I didn´t exactly hate Flavio and Marita, but they were still not compelling or interesting by any means (while their guardian was really annoying).
shareThe only thing that really annoyed me was the fact that this show upset my parents, making them stop me from watching. It wasn't until I was older, I saw all the sexual innuendos hidden in the show, and that's what upset them. The people at the animation studio always seemed to make life hell for the censors in charge of 90s tv.

I couldn't understand why Yacko and Wacko would say that, and later on, when you grow up, you realize how many sex jokes and innuendo they had hidden in this show, stuff that would totally go over kids' heads, and have very disturbing implications. In fact, the people who made this cartoon (and other WB cartoons) would drive the censors nuts with their daring jokes; particularly to see how far they could go. There's probably a lot of material that these writers and animators were not allowed to show on tv and had to cut out of this cartoon.
