No. "Die Hard 2" is better. "Cliffhanger" is very good, and the best of the "Die Hard" knock-offs.

Cliffhanger has some great moments though, the opening accident sequence is perhaps Harlin's best directed scene in his entire career... but during the third act Cliffhanger becomes a bit boring and filled with cliches.
I also liked Deep Blue Sea... these are my top 3 Renny Harlin films.

I keep changing my mind but right now I’m in love with Cliffhanger. I’m sure I’ll switch back to DH2 when I next watch it.

Both films are best to watch at Christmas.
Die Hard 2 is the worst Die Hard of them all. I got a Die Hard set at Costco and immediately threw Die Harder out.
