Rank Hellraiser movies

I just finished watching the ninth movie and here's my ranking:

1 )Hellraiser 6.5\10
2 )Inferno (V) 6\10
3 )Hellseeker (VI) 6\10 (it's in no way a better movie than Hellbound but it's a more entertaining one. Loved the plot, loved Kristy in it)
4 )Hellbound (II) 5.5\10 (I'm probably going to get *beep* for this, but thought that the plot was a mess and not as entertaining as the two above)
5 )Bloodline (IV)
6 )Deader (VII) 5\10
7 )Hellworld (VIII) 5\10
8 )Hell on Earth (III) 4.5\10
9 )Revelations (IX) 3.5\10

What's your's ?

If you ever read Barker's The Hellbound Heart which the movies are based off of it says near even the start of the book that a french toymaker really did make the box he also made toy songbirds that's why there was the musical component to the box also.

8) Hellworld 3 out of 10
9) Revelations 1 out of 10 (A few people have tried to defend this by saying fans judged it before it came out. Nope, sorry, I watched it with an open mind, given how sup-par the last few have been, and it's still easily the worst in the series by far.)

And FURTHERMORE, this is my signature! SERIOUSLY! Did you think I was still talking about my point?

1) Hellraiser- An amazing script and direction from Clive, as well as superb acting and special effects which still look amazing on Blu-ray. Most of all tho was the use of a recurring theme of Clive's movies, the humans being the evil ones.

2) Hellbound- A perfect follow up to the first movie. Godd to see a little bit of backstory. Always good to see a horror movie in a mental hospital and great new antagonist in Dr Chanard.

3) Deader- I know it was one of the movies that was another horror movie with cenobites added but i felt this one kind of worked for the mythos. I also liked how gritty the film felt.

4) Bloodline- Yes it was all over the place, but the thing i really liked about this movie was Angelique. Her presence, i felt, was un-nerving. Almost as good antagonist as Julia, more so in some ways. She just oozed evil

5) Hellseeker- Kirsty doing what Kirsty does best. Thats how i saw this movie. Luv it, lol.

6) Inferno- Its Boone, need i say more.

7) Hellworld- I quite enjoyed the story, but i'd call it a Hellraiser themed movie rather than an actual Hellraiser.

8) Hell on earth- The one that the studios decided they should go with Pin-head as the main antagonist and thus make everyone thing that he had always been such.

9) Revelations- Can't actually comment on this as I got bored after 15 minutes. If they're gonna replace Bradley then at least have the common decency to use another Cenobite, there are sooooooo many to choose from. From the look of the guy i'd say he would have made a better General.
Edit: Watched Revelations, I usually try and find some redeeming quality in these sequels. I think Dimension has finally made one where i can't think of single good thing about it.

If God loves us, why did he create Justin Bieber?

I'm only through the first five, so here's my short list.

1) Hellraiser (6-7) - loved the mystique of the cenobites, plus Butterball with the shades is hilarious
2) Inferno (6-7) - very close second, happy to see that they rejuvenated the series with a movie that had a plot
3) Hellbound (4-5) - super disjointed, but better still better than the two that followed
4) Bloodline (4) - this sucked and the whole space thing was just absurd
5) Hell on Earth (2) - hated everything about this except Terry Farrell, who I like to look at - this movie ruined Pinhead

Just watched the sixth one. Update.

1) Hellraiser (6-7) - loved the mystique of the cenobites, plus Butterball with the shades is hilarious
2) Inferno (6-7) - very close second, happy to see that they rejuvenated the series with a movie that had a solid plot
3) Hellbound (4-5) - super disjointed, but better still better than the two that followed
4) Bloodline (4) - this sucked and the whole space thing was just absurd
5) Hellseeker (2-3) - this one was incredibly boring, but mainly because it didn't have much of a plot - instead, the first 90% of the film is a repetition of the main character being confused and hallucinating with the only thing that changes being his physical location - really *beep* version of Inferno
6) Hell on Earth (2) - hated everything about this except Terry Farrell, who I like to look at - this movie ruined Pinhead

5) Deader (3) - would have been closer to a 5 if they didn't keep us in the dreamland for 1/3 of the movie - it's like the writers didn't have enough material for a full movie, so they just made all the scenes unnecessarilly long
6) Hellseeker (2-3) - this one was incredibly boring, but mainly because it didn't have much of a plot - instead, the first 90% of the film is a repetition of the main character being confused and hallucinating with the only thing that changes being his physical location - really *beep* version of Inferno

1.Hellraiser - For its time, a genuinely unique and disturbing horror film thrust
upon an unsuspecting public similar to the way Saw and Hostel
created a whole new category of gore and horror. Hellraiser is a
dark love story about the limits people will break for their own
pleasure 10/10
2.Hellbound - A nice continuation of the first story in the same vein as Halloween
2 was to the original Halloween. A bit more shocking and disturbing,
especially the unrated version, it stands alone as a genuinely good
horror film while taking us deeper into the world of the cenobites 10/10
3.Inferno - The biggest complaint most people had with this was that Pinhead had
very little air time. But if you remember he had little airtime in
original and even less in Hellbound (which many people claim is their
favorite version). Remember, in the original movies the stories were
not about Pinhead but about the people who opened the box. Inferno is
a dark disturbing movie about a guy who's already in Hell and reliving
his punishment over and over. Its an interesting look at what happens
to people who open the box after they've been ripped apart and
tortured. 9/10
4.Hellseeker - In the same vein as Inferno, but not as good. I enjoyed the return
of Kirsty as side character who drives the whole plot and I enjoyed
the twist at the end which only deepens the mythos of the cenobites 8/10
5.Deader - I set out to watch this with low expectations but was pleasantly
surprised. It runs along the same idea as Inferno and Hellseeker but
different in is own way. It reminded me a lot of the pacing and style
of the original 7/10
6.Bloodline - This one had potential but felt rushed and uneven. Then I learned it went
through considerable rewrites similar to Alien3 and Halloween 6. The
theatrical releases of those movies were ok but the original versions of both
are far superior. The original script I read for bloodlines was far better then
the movie version 7/10
7. Hell on Earth – While I appreciated the back story to Pinhead, the movie just reduced
him to another movie monster killer similar to Freddy, Jason and
Michael Myers. I loved this one as a kid, but after watching it again
years later I find the movie and even the acting lame. It did have some
beautiful actresses though 6/10
8.Hellworld – Not as bad as it thought it might be, I actually enjoyed it a bit. It was an
interesting break from the series’ style and kind of a nice send off for the
series. 6/10
9. Revelations - I tried to watch it with an open mind but…the camera work was shotty,
the acting Asylum style, the characters unrealistic, and the story was a
reworking of the original. The blood and gore were there, and I really
appreciated the take on why some people choose to become cenobytes.
For some people pain and pleasure indivisible is pure heaven rather then
hell. But the new Pinhead? Sorry. Its like someone stepping up to play
Michael Coreleone or Rocky. Big shoes to fill. 3/10
