I just finished watching the ninth movie and here's my ranking:

1 )Hellraiser 6.5\10
2 )Inferno (V) 6\10
3 )Hellseeker (VI) 6\10 (it's in no way a better movie than Hellbound but it's a more entertaining one. Loved the plot, loved Kristy in it)
4 )Hellbound (II) 5.5\10 (I'm probably going to get *beep* for this, but thought that the plot was a mess and not as entertaining as the two above)
5 )Bloodline (IV)
6 )Deader (VII) 5\10
7 )Hellworld (VIII) 5\10
8 )Hell on Earth (III) 4.5\10
9 )Revelations (IX) 3.5\10

And before someone has a nerdgasm all over their screen banging out what they consider the complete list- just stop. Revelations is just a rubbish piece of fanfic, and has no business wearing the Hellraiser name.

I've just finished watching them all on Halloween for the 2nd time in 3 years.

My Ranking:

1) Inferno (V) 9.5/10 (Amazing film! Great effects, great story, dark, sinister & the best one out of all 9!)
2) Hellseeker (VI) 9.0/10 (Another great entry with a great story-line with all sorts of twists & turns!)
3) Hellworld (VIII) 8.5/10 (Gory, bloody & an epic entry in the franchise! Kathryn Winnick is fit as f@*k!)
4) Bloodline (IV) 7.5/10 (Dislike Sci-Fis at the best of times but this was actually pretty decent!)
5) Revelations (IX) 6.0/10 (This actually wasn't a bad film. It wasn't the best & lacked a bit here & there but it was actually an alright film considering Doug Bradley's absence.)
6) Hell on Earth (III) 5.5/10 (Not a great entry, but gory & bloody enough for me to like it!)
7) Hellraiser 5.0/10 (Dated, but gory & bloody with an interesting concept.)
8) Hellbound (II) 4.5/10 (Dragged a bit, but like the previous 2 above, it was bloody & gory enough to carry it along & keep me interested in it just about.)
9) Deader (VII) 4.0/10 (Weak & watery, ok in parts, but just flat as a fart! Weakest entry in the franchise!)

I'm not sure but, I can't understand how they didn't keep the magic that I and II had. They repeated flopped and cheesy formulas. The police officer/reporter looking for the truth? the it's a dream/or not plot? We got an old character in later entries, but it was not enough.

There was something very special about the first 2, and they choose not to explore that or to expand the mythology? why?

I could watch the first two in one take, then the series felt like a TV series because I was so bored to death that I couldn't finish one single movie in one day.
