Without question. I have probably watched it a dozen times. Never get tired of it. I do prefer the theatrical version. And they did it all with practical effects. Amazing film.

I’d say the entire last 30-40 minutes from the moment the Aliens attack the control room to the final fight with the Queen on the ship is the ultimate, non-stop rollercoaster third act thrill ride in cinema history.

Agree. You kind of take it for granted when you've seen it so many times, but I can't think of another film that has that kind of sprint to the finish.
Like you said the last 35-40 minutes is just non-stop. Then at the very end once they leave the planet and survive the blast, you get one second to catch your breath and then you have one last showdown.
