Should "Grease" be remade with actual teenagers playing the roles?

Definitely not ...but they can take a crack at remaking Grease II if they like.

No. They just remade She's All That with teens and it seems like everyone hates it and prefers the original - and the original was no masterpiece to begin with.

A big part of Grease’s charm was the casting. Yes, a lot of the actors looked close to collecting old age pension cheques, but they also had spunk and charisma and I wholeheartedly believe it would not be the enduring classic it is without John, Olivia, Stockard and the rest.

The thought of a remake starring Disney channel upstarts is enough to make me barf.

It wouldn't bother me if they did. I've always found it to be really weird when they use people in their 20s and 30s to play teenagers anyways. Something about this just doesn't work. Grease was a pretty good movie though.

With Zendaya playing Sandy? I can see that.
