Tell me? When did you first see this movie? How old where you? And what was your reaction to it?

Idk along time ago when i was a kid back in the early 90s must have been six or seven. I grew up watching movies like this.

I was a teenager, sometime around 1999. It was really late, like 3 AM. I was wired on caffeine and I happened to catch this film. I'd seen NOTLD and loved it, so naturally I had to take this chance to see Dawn.

I loved it. I could not look away.

I was 8 years old so it had to have been about 93-94.

I was blown away. Collected enough pennies to buy my own copy and watched it just about every single day for a year.

I first saw it several years ago when that awesome Ultimate Edition dvd was released, so I was in my 20s.

My reaction was I was blown away. It was so good, I immediately tracked down Romero's other movies.

It's actual release year was in 1979 and I saw it as a teen that year around the same time I saw "Alien", "Phantasm" and "Prophecy". Newsweek referred to these films as "Hollywood's scary summer". A great year for horror and it's return to the mainstream.

10 years ago. Rented it a few days before the re-make was supposed to be out. I loved the original miles better. Have seen the re-make twice. The 2nd time was the unrated. I prefer the original. I have it on VHS, DVD, and blu. Original

I remember it well. I've seen all four films many times, Phantasm really stood out at the time.

Fifteen, 1985, courtesy of the local mom and pop video store. I loved it and was completely blown away.

I bought it on from a local video store for £5 - a pre cert version titled 'Zombies: Dawn of the Dead' and was intrigued by the cover... I was about 15 at the time and after that I went on to watch NOTLD and Day then ROTLD 1&2 fairly soon after - my love of zombie films was born!

At age of 14, over christmas vacation and watched on VHS. I LOVED it. Watched it late at night, and started to fall asleep. Awaken suddenly, a little puzzled about why a horde of bikers were suddenly "shopping".
