When Did You First See This Movie?
Tell me? When did you first see this movie? How old where you? And what was your reaction to it?

When I was in 9th grade, in 2009. Got to love the classics.
shareMy sisters boyfriend, now her husband, is a big fan of the movie. He knew I was a big horror fan, and I had never seen it. So, he took us to see it at a midnight showing. This was in 1983 or 84. Which would make me 13 or 14 years old.
The movie changed my life.
In 2004 when I was in college. The remake was about to be released, and they were selling the single-disk Divimax edition. I watched it late one night, then watched it again with the commentary, and I've watched it regularly since. It might just be my favorite movie.
I love to love my Lisa.
I was 14 and my reaction? Oh my gosh cheesy!!!
Esp when they chop off a zombie head with the helicopter!!! That has become a favourite scene with myself and friends!! ;)

I'd say around 1986 as a video rental. My reaction, pretty frickin' awesome.

I saw it when i was 13 (two years ago)I rented it from Netflix, and I was getting into horror about now. My first reaction was good but not great.
After more and more viewings it's become great and a movie I consider a masterpiece.
Guess I'm the oldest one on this board. I saw this in 1978 when it first came out in the theaters, I was 17. I remember feeling kind of sick while I was watching it. The over the top gore which looks pretty cheap by today's standards wasn't all that common back then and I had never seen such a gory movie. Of course I got used to it pretty quickly and really enjoyed the movie once the shock wore off.

You are super *beep* lucky to have seen this in the theater. I was a decade too late to see the really raw horror and it always bugs me. I can't imagine seeing this on first release on a big screen. It must have been so much fun.
Texas Chainsaw is another one that I'd have loved to have seen.

My *beep* brother showed it to me when i was about 6 xD
5 6 years ago.. Loved it .
I have realized you can't make a difference. You must accept your fate
In 1985 my mom took us to the midnight show and it was so much fun because the theater was PACKED! I didn't expect it to be so funny and the audience ate it up.
