My ancestors on dad's side of the family didn't even come to America until 1900, when slavery was illegal. My ancestors on my mother's side lived in the North and hated slavery so much, they helped in the Underground Railroad. To lump me in with all whites, demanding that I feel bad about something that my ancestors didn't do over 150 years ago, and fork over cash to people who never worked a day in their lives, is not what I'd call "justice."

So no. I don't feel guilty about what my ancestors didn't do years ago. Heck, I don't even feel sorry for my Viking ancestors who raped, murdered, and pillaged villages and towns all along the coasts of mainland Europe. Nor do I feel guilty about having German ancestors, Irish ancestors, or Russian ones.

My ancestors didn't do anything to any black people. I was born a century after slavery ended, and I have never done anything to any black person. Take responsibility for your own life and leave me the fuck alone.

What my ancestors did to Blacks? You mean civilize them, free them from slavery, give them 20 times higher living standard that they would have had living by their own and give them all the civil rights, affirmative action, NAACP, congressional Black caucus, MLKs, diversity quotas and all the wokeness?
