Are childless Republican women mad?

He called Democratic women "childless cat ladies", so are Republican women without children women also CCLs? If not, how would that differ. And if it does include them, how would they not be pissed at such statements, or do they just not care about his words.

reply

I know one who is. But I'm a childless cat lady -- I deal with kittens better than I do babies (I always have the vague feeling babies are going to explode, or at least erupt from both ends) -- so I'm not angry or bitter. I'm rather glad the way it turned out. I don't think I'd have made a good mother, and having been on the receiving end of what that's like, I wouldn't want to inflict that on a child. So winning all around in my case.

Vance says he wasn't attacking women who couldn't have children. He was talking about the women with no personal stake in the future who go around telling everyone what to do about climate change and the rest of it. Once you understand what he was saying you have to be looking for something to complain about to get upset about it.

reply

Who the hell is he to say who has a "personal stake in the future" or not?

That is a pretty strong statement about someone. I'm pretty sure few people on earth would appreciate being told they have "no personal stake in the future who go around telling everyone what to do" . That sounds alot like what Vance and Trump do, in fact, that's what all politicians do.

Vance is a tool. Nothing more. Trump will use him and throw him away when he's not of use anymore, just like he does with everyone. Why do you think his last VP hates him now?

reply

He is a person seeing the problem of the crashing birthrate and discussing the issue.

That is who is.

Your manufactured outrage over him daring to criticize "women" is noted. and just you being a bigoted ass.

reply

"He is a person seeing the problem of the crashing birthrate and discussing the issue."
Discussing the issue , but offering no solution. He's a moron. We all know the birth rates are declining. Vance hasn't offered any solution other than vaguely blaming "liberals" for not having enough kids when it's both liberals and conservatives who aren't having kids, it's not on one side of the spectrum, it's everywhere. Even the last poster was clearly a Republican supporter but said SHE was a childless cat lady - my point proven.

Vance has no solution to the birth rate crisis. He just trying to get his falling polling numbers up.

reply

To be clear before we move on, you are now admitting that he has a right to discuss the issue?

Because it's kind of shitty in such situations when the lefty in question drops an attack that has been refuted, but without admitting it was refuted. Because that means when you refute their other points they plan to circle back to the first refuted attack.

reply

Of course he has the right to discuss whatever issue he wants, I never said he didn't - But it's compeletely irrelevant the way he's discussing it, completely pointless and adds nothing to the campaign - and he has no solution to the problem.

reply

Opening up with "who the hell is he to say", implies strongly that he has no right to voice his opinion on the matter at hand.

1. Do you agree that the problem of crashing birthrates is a problem?

2. Are you aware of ANY attempt by our government to address the issue at all? Cause I'm not.

3. Do you have any ideas on solutions?

reply

Did you read that in 'Couchfucker Elegy'?

reply

LOL so basically "If you have no personal stake in the future then your opinion on it is invalid." Even if you think that is a valid political or philosophical or intellectual point, which it is not, why would you so publicly be dismissive of someone that otherwise could vote for you. They are weird.

reply

Your opinion on it is going to be different from the people who DO have that stake in it. That's just common sense. I don't know how my opinion would change if I were thinking about how my children's future since I don't have children.

He wasn't being dismissive. He was saying that one's opinion would be different, and have a deeper urgency if you were concerned about your children's welfare, which again is common sense. The Democrat Party can't tell the difference between "weird" and common sense. And that's why tapping a radical leftist with policies that sound straight out of Portland isn't going to appeal to heartland America.

reply

All childless women are witches and will burn in hell.

reply

You sound like a pathetic jealous incel. Maybe because those childless women won't stoop low enough to go out with you.
you are worth less to them than their cats.

reply

Who gives a shit.
Vote on POLICY...not some stupid comment.
What policies will the candidates push.
The election is really about open borders or secure borders.

reply

It is also about open pipelines. The public-at-large, more so the Dems, haven't a clue about what is required to make electricity.

reply

I can't speak for all the cat ladies around the world but I doubt this is going to piss them off that much. Vance said this 3 years ago, it's a non-issue today.

That being said, the coffee cup surge over this is hilarious. Here are a few of them...

It's "child-free". Breeders can't handle that truth.

reply

Yes. Strategically, he should be replaced. Tulsi Gabbard? She checks some boxes and served in the military.

reply

Tulsi Gabbard was a DEI hire that was "selected" for Accelerated Officer Candidate School, with the emphasis on "accelerated."

reply

And yet ... I don't care.

reply

As long as you guys are now okay with "DEI hires" . . . it doesn't matter to me.

reply

It evens out. Vice President Harris found favor with Willie Brown, did she not?

reply

Just checking was all.

reply

He referred to Kamal Harris as one. Which is factually incorrect. She has two stepchildren. She is not childless. It's a stupid incorrect statement.

reply

If being called a childless cat lady offends some women, doesn't that mean that deep down they regret not having children and it eats away at them?

They should be hearing that phrase and revelling in it saying "damn right i hate kids, i prefer having a bunch of cats around me instead"

reply

You are not taking into account the many, many women who are/were unable to conceive, or who suffered numerous miscarriages.
This failure to bear children is known to break up marriages and render those women feeling like failures.
Let us not forget those women who did have a child who died of disease, accident, defending their country in the military, or numerous other misfortunes.
Even if his remark was targeted toward Vice President Harris, such words cause collateral damage.
Motherhood is deemed the most precious event in a woman's life by most. Those who are denied it will be hurt by such a remark.
