LBGTQ+ don't want us thinking they are all about sex, but it's all this queer talks about

I've heard the LGBTQ crowd getting their panties all in a knot, or whatever they're wearing or not wearing, because straight people think they're all about sex and nothing else.

So we as the straight community are supposed to stop thinking this way.

Yet I just watched an episode of $100,000 pyramid featuring flamboyant flamer Ross Matthews as a celebrity guest, and that's all he did the entire show was make sexual innuendos and flirt with Michael Strahan.

So which is it?

reply

It sounds like Ross Matthews like's to talk about sex.

You know one guy doesn't represent an entire group of people right?

reply

I think the OP is saying….Ross is just an example, but one that most people know of.

Ross is not a representative of all gay people. Just like Al Sharpton isn’t a representative or spokesperson for all black people.

But they are two people who many people are aware of. And….they are people with influence and followers. So it is fair and reasonable to invoke their names…pertaining to the subject matter in general.

reply

I have no idea who Ross Matthews is and I can't stand Al Sharpton and think he's a crook that belongs in prison.

Regardless, saying they speak for an entire group of people is like saying Andrew Dice Clay, someone who became famous for talking about sex non-stop, is a spokesperson for straight people.

reply

Clay is the perfect example of a hyperbolic straight male stereotype.

reply

No one person can (necessarily) speak for an entire community. However, they can be examples of a trend.

reply

I understand the point your making. Still, I think the OP is being hyperbolic.

reply

VinceD - Andrew Dice Clay is a spokesperson for straight people.

Majorities (e.g. straight people) neither have, nor need, spokespersons. Minorities feel that they do, and there have forever been champions trying to be their voice. In the case of Ross Matthews, getting back to the point, the LGBTQ needs to shut him down if they really want to portray a positive image.

Here's some insight on who Ross Mathews is from Game Show Garbage:

Finally, we see the third host in Ross Mathews aka Ross the Intern from The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. I don't know what to say about this one, but here it goes. This is the worst host that GSN has ever put on the air. Yes, worse than Wendy Williams, Dylan Lane, and Burt Luddin combined. Not only that, he's one of the biggest walking gay stereotypes out there today. He's got the voice, the sashay, and the mannerisms that make me somewhat embarrassed for my gay friends out there. Yes, I know I'm being nice to him here, so I'll just let my Buzzerblog post from 2009 tell you the rest about how I feel about Ross Mathews on this show.

Ross Mathews aka Ross the Intern is by far the WORST host for anything on GSN. We get it, You're gay. We don't' care as long as you host well. And to be honest, you are worse than Patrick Wayne. You put your annoying self over like nobody's business, which is the absolute worst thing a host can do, When you tried the game with Tom Green, the acting game, you didn't even know what the hell to do, yet you were prepped on this before the show started and not 1 minute before the game started. You are absolutely pathetic and don't deserve to be on TV. Also, don't get me started on that horrific attempt at Weekend Update for Game Shows, especially with your drooling over reading the story about Adam Lambert coming out of the closet and wanting him to make you his twinky bottom bitch. Not only that, the plugs that you gave are worse for Oodles and that Seaworld sketch were horrifically done. May you never grace any stage again, not even a strip club stage, you untalented bozo.

Who watches 100,000 pyramid? What is this, 1975? People actually take the time to travel to some studio somewhere to compete for a measly 100k?

reply

My wife and I "traveled to some studio" known as the Bob Barker Studio, Hollywood, and she won A Brand New Car! Yes people do it. And it was one of the happiest days of our pathetic lives. To us, it was not a measly winning. Good for you that $100,000 is "measly". Now go away, troll.

reply

Lmao. Because straight people never think about sex? Which answers for the planet's general over-population lmao. Gay people, just like straight people, are allowed to be sexual without it being deviant and obsessive, you douche nozzle. Now go get in the kitchen and make your wife a sandwich for what would probably be the first time.

ADBruno1985 - go get in the kitchen and make your wife a sandwich for what would probably be the first time.

Wow, go off-topic much? ADHD meds haven't kicked in?

I am the sole bread winner here. I built and paid for this house. She doesn't work. Why should I have to make her a sandwich?

Every gay person I've ever met talks about nothing else. They think about nothing else but gay sex, they apply it to every relationship they see on tv (straight or not), and they obsess over how "great" it is. There is nothing else to their personalities, it's all about the gayness. They dream of a world with nothing but gay people. Every story they write is about coming out of the closet and the world falling at their feet over it, or dumping their parents for "kinder" handlers. They always make it about them and their sexual orientation.

One of the sadder existences I've ever seen. They're so desperate not to be alone, they'll even shack up with an abusive partner! And stay with them, even though the other person is cruel to them!

reply

YOU SOUND LIKE A BAD PERSON.

reply

I remember Doug Walker complaining all the time about how Hollywood doesn’t know how to write gay people, that every gay character Hollywood has written always has to announce how gay they are in every scene they’re in. Well, that has pretty much summed up LGBT all along. They obviously want you to care yet if you say you don’t like it they react with “why do you care so much???”

reply

I've seen many memes online where ordinary people are trying to live their lives, and yet the rainbow mafia demands absolute worship and adoration. The moment you don't do that, they call you "hateful" and "homophobic." A very telling meme shows two versions of the same picture: Image 1 shows a person with a rainbow shirt getting beaten on by 3 men holding thick books to use for the beating, and the books all have crosses on them. It has the caption: "How they see it." Image 2 shows the opposite, where the person on the ground has a cross on their shirt, the 3 men have rainbows on their books, and they're yelling "Tolerate us, you fucking bigot!" And the caption reads: "How the rest of us see it."

reply

MEMES?...REALLY?🤣

reply

The Last of us did it pretty well.

reply

Hollywood wants to write in all minorities, including gay people, but it's more difficult than including POC, because they are obvious.

So to "write in " a gay character, I guess they have to be flamboyant if they are not shown with their partner.

reply

There are straight people that do nothing but make sexual innuendos and flirt. Does that mean all straight people are about sex and nothing else?

reply

Yes. Yes, it does.
