I really enjoyed him in everything he did especially his 70s TV series where he played psychologist Dr. Bob Hartley.

Bob Newhart played Major Major Major Major in Catch-22 (1970). He has a funny scene, while climbing out of a window, explaining to his clerk what to tell Anthony Perkins' character and others who want to meet with him.
