Honestly, I'm glad. I don't think he was a very good Superman and I have never been impressed by his acting.

He has never actually played Superman and he is tarnished by the Snyderverse movies. That said, they better cast someone who looks like Superman.

Just put this guy into a blue suit and make another Man of Steel movie, with a director other than Snyder.

Sucks but I guess we'll see what the new Superman will can do. Personally I liked him as Superman minus his monotone acting though who knows what a Superman alien can act like given all that he's been through.

Wow what a graceful exit from Cavill.

It's a shame that Cavill in real-life is more Superman than what the script portrayed him as in the three films in which he appeared as the character.

It's ironic because with the right material he very easily could have been depicted with just as much beloved fanfare as Christopher Reeve, but alas... Snyder ruined the character with all that moody, brooding nonsense.

That's too bad.
