Why doesn't he do Cameo in his movies like Stan Lee?
Everyone his age is dying, soon he will too and he will not be remembered as a legend for long because he barely is in any of his movie

shareMy understanding is he regrets becoming very public in his early years as he did when he starred in an American Express commercial in the mid-‘80s and nowadays hates to be recognized. Many people say he’s rude with them when they recognize and approach him in public. I like his early writing, but he seems like a strange and frightened guy.
shareWhen you remember that he was almost killed by a driver who wasn't paying attention and hit him while he was walking, it makes sense that he would be wary.
Plus, a lot of people think that it is their right to hound celebrities for autographs, etc.
The reason that Paul Newman stopped giving autographs was that some a$$hole followed him into a men's room and bugged him for his autograph. Some people have no intelligence when dealing with famous people. Put aside the celebrity and they are just like you and me.
Would you like someone to bug you in a men's room? I wouldn't.
he'll get a nice send off, i barely even read fiction books and i'm sure this guy will be in headlines when he goes
shareNot necessarily. Ernest Hemingway has been dead for 60 years, F. Scott Fitzgerald for 80 and everyone knows who they were. People are remembered for their contributions not cameos.
shareHe was in IT Chapter 2.
I also heard that he isn't welcomed on set because he is an annoying retard. Go figure, someone that writes stories about child orgies isn't the best person to work with.
He does. But he also sells his scripts/stories for $1 for film and TV. So I assume he just doesn't have the time to meet all productions.
