I think what needs to be considered is WHY the suicide rate is so much higher. Being transgender in itself doesn't mean someone is definitely going to commit suicide which is evident by the fact that not 100% of transgender individuals kill themselves. I bet if people stopped descriminating so much and stopped treating them like they're awful people, the rates would go down significantly. Whether someone is a woman or a man doesn't affect me regardless if they're born that way or they transitioned.

the suicide rate is high because they are sick and troubled individuals not because the way they are treated any particular way. lots of groups are hated even more but dont have anywhere as close a suicide rate

I don't like using the word "tranny" because I feel people who are transgender have a mental illness and don't need the disparaging term. Having said that, I hope her son gets the help he needs. Thinking you're a different gender is just as serious as someone who is schizophrenic thinking they're seeing people who aren't there.

Are there any Hollywood offspring of the current generation who are NOT gay or trans? The only ones I can think of are the son and daughter of Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta Jones. Pretty much every other kid of a Hollywood star I have read about is some kind of alternate sexuality entity.
