What's the first movie you remember seeing in a theater?
I think? I saw "Karate Kid" in 1984.
I know I saw "Howard the Duck" in 1986.
What about you?

With the whole family, pretty sure it was Balto (1995). But I saw a few with my sister though, like Fern Gully (1992) and Thumbelina (1994). On my own? I couldn't even tell you, I was always accompanied to the movies by someone until I was in my late teens and only because a friend never showed up or called.
share"The Sting"
Sometime during 1974 I guess, I would have been seven years old...Obviously I didn't understand what the hell was going on! In fact, I doubt I understood everything going on in that film until my third or fourth viewing when I was in my early twenties...π
Either batman or teenage mutant ninja turtles
shareIt was either Snow White or Bambi. In the early 80s all those classic Disney cartoons made the rounds at our theater and my mum took us kids to all of em.
shareThe AristoCats (1970) I was six years old and my stepfather was a minor celebrity at that time so we got to walk on the red carpet Christmas Eve for the premiere of this movie. I was on TV! The best part is that every seat in the theater had Christmas stockings attached to the seats and those stockings were stuffed with candy and snacks. I might have seen a movie in a theater before this movie but I have no memory of it.
shareNo wonder you don't remember any others! This is pretty cool and may have crowded out quite a few earlier memories when it come to movies.
