What's the first movie you remember seeing in a theater?
I think? I saw "Karate Kid" in 1984.
I know I saw "Howard the Duck" in 1986.
What about you?

My mom said she took me to see Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at Radio City Music Hall but I have no firm memory of it. I remember "Lili" where Leslie Caron plays a runaway and at the end, a happy one, I burst into tears and it was the start of me being a crier at movies. I was 5 or 6 years old. (No I didn't see it when it was originally released. Back in the pre-VCR 1960s there were revival theaters which was our way of watching old movies. Some got shown on TV but not to the extent of today).
shareLittle Giants or little rascals, maybe?, We went to the theater every weekend 1994 until the theater closed down in 2000. The small town theater showed the movies 6 months after the cities.
shareBatman (1989)
shareProbably some "Jack Ryan" movie.
shareI think maybe “Beneath the Planet of the Apes” (1970) is the first movie I remember seeing at the theater.
shareMary Poppins with my Mom when it came out in a local theater.
shareBalto (1995) - I remember more because the movie theatre was incredibly beautiful, never been to a prettier cinema, and I think that one either shut down or was renovated to look like all the modern ones. Good movie though, but it's the theatre that makes me remember the experience more than anything. Set my expectations for movie watching establishment too high at a young age.
share"The Sting"
I certainly didn't understand what was going on, though, as I was only seven years old!
