lol...i know it's controversial...but maybe, maybe just mayabe...people don't actually like soup?

i mean seriously...

reply

I never liked soup, my wife does always has

reply

Why would you assume everyone doesn't like soup?

reply

The TV series “The League” had an episode about a soup group.

reply

The only thing I don't really like about soup is how it always goes and burns my tongue and leaves it feeling funny for days. I'd like to punch it right in the soup throat!

reply

So you're saying soup makes your tongue glum?

reply

Lol Yes I am considering changing my name here to Soupglum9

reply

What is the 9 for?

reply

Moonglums 1 through 8 were taken when I originally made the name for an email account years ago (I think for AOL). Then when I made an IMDb account at a later time, for simplicity's sake, I just stuck with the 9.

reply

I see. Your username intrigued me. Massive thanks for humoring me with my inquest.

reply

It's a character in the Elric series of novels by Michael Moorcock

reply

May I recommend the gazpacho?

reply

I love my mom's potato soup. It's good.

reply

There is one soup that everyone loves: Cock-a-leekie soup. I mean, come on, how can one not love that?

reply

While I lived with my grandparents for a few years from 2013-2017,
I didn't feel comfortable asking for a whole lot of expensive food from them,
So I lived off canned soup and hungry man dinners for 4 years

I reckon I almost died from hypertension and weighed 220-250 pounds despite soup being relatively low calorie

Fuck the minuscule pieces of technical chicken per can
Fuck the cover of the can showing it loaded with vegetables when there aren't hardly any
Fuck all the soy oil in each can
And fuck 42% daily salt intake per can

reply

If you mean "people" as in "some people," who am I to say you are wrong?

A few favorites: New England clam chowder, lobster/crab/shrimp bisque, bouillabaisse. borscht (hot or cold), goulash, gumbo, pozole (rojo, especially), ramen (especially tonkotsu), cioppino... I'm sure I've forgotten more than I've remembered. And some of these may have wandered in to the "stew" category, so sue me.
