lol...i know it's controversial...but maybe, maybe just mayabe...people don't actually like soup?
i mean seriously...
sharei mean seriously...
shareI never liked soup, my wife does always has
shareWhy would you assume everyone doesn't like soup?
shareThe TV series “The League” had an episode about a soup group.
shareThe only thing I don't really like about soup is how it always goes and burns my tongue and leaves it feeling funny for days. I'd like to punch it right in the soup throat!
shareSo you're saying soup makes your tongue glum?
shareLol Yes I am considering changing my name here to Soupglum9
shareMay I recommend the gazpacho?
shareI love my mom's potato soup. It's good.
shareThere is one soup that everyone loves: Cock-a-leekie soup. I mean, come on, how can one not love that?
shareWhile I lived with my grandparents for a few years from 2013-2017,
I didn't feel comfortable asking for a whole lot of expensive food from them,
So I lived off canned soup and hungry man dinners for 4 years
I reckon I almost died from hypertension and weighed 220-250 pounds despite soup being relatively low calorie
Fuck the minuscule pieces of technical chicken per can
Fuck the cover of the can showing it loaded with vegetables when there aren't hardly any
Fuck all the soy oil in each can
And fuck 42% daily salt intake per can
If you mean "people" as in "some people," who am I to say you are wrong?
A few favorites: New England clam chowder, lobster/crab/shrimp bisque, bouillabaisse. borscht (hot or cold), goulash, gumbo, pozole (rojo, especially), ramen (especially tonkotsu), cioppino... I'm sure I've forgotten more than I've remembered. And some of these may have wandered in to the "stew" category, so sue me.
