Yes, she clearly carried a lot of pain. She was one of the few post-2000 artists who made me stop and take notice.

I heard it all the time in college. Honestly I didn't really even like it then. I think it took "being done wrong" later on to understand her blood curdling rage. 😂

A great band! One of their songs is one of my all-time favorite songs, but that's a thread that I've got in the back of my mind for a different day. 😁
