Choose one movie to remove from existence.

"Grease."

I wanna punch that movie in its face. Then punch it again for being so shit that I was forced to punch it. I never want to hear any of those shitty songs again. I never wanna hear that buck toothed girl say, "Brusha, Brusha, Brusha" ever again. I never wanna see those actors ten years from retirement playing teens ever again. I never wanna wanna see that car fly off at the end again. I never wanna hear the name Frenchie again. This alleged "film" needs to be removed from existence in order to save humanity.

reply

I've never forced myself to endure that one. Then again, I'm not into musicals at all.

I wish I could participate. But your request overloads my brain. There are so many films I want to remove from existence the mind reels.

If one surfaces above all the rest I'll return and modify this response.

reply

Watch Grease and add it here.

reply

Ghostbusters 2016 - I actually rewatched it recently and it's great sin is that it's boring & painfully not funny.

reply

I'm shocked that it has a relatively high score on IMDb.

reply

Critics where bought and paid for for those high reviews and it was all about pushing the agenda which was the anihilation of masculinity in entertainment.

reply

IMDB is userscores, not critics.

Lmao "annihilation of masculinity in entertainment"

reply

Even if it's peoples scores who actually saw it in theaters it's likely a filtered score that only shows good reviews. Remember Amazon owns Imdb and Ghostbusters 2016 is the reason the message boards went away there.

reply

6.8 is also not amazing. It's like, *okay*.

The reason the IMDB boards went away is because they couldn't be bothered to moderate them most likely, and didn't need them.

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1289401/reviews/?ref_=tt_urv_sm&rating=1 You can easily see 1 star reviews.

reply

I'd say 6.8 is within the "good" range.

reply

6.8 is absurdly high for a POS like GB 2016, clearly a rigged score.

Yep, once Amazon took over they killed the message boards - do they really want people shitting on Amazon productions and streaming content? Newp.

Elon should make imdbX with fully functioning message boards and woke warnings etc 🍻

reply

>Elon should make imdbX with fully functioning message boards and woke warnings etc 🍻

So in its own way, a biased movie/tv website that specifically derides anything it judges to be 'woke'. How is that not just in its own way, the reverse, of IMDB (or what you see as IMDB)?

How is this any different than some christian movie site? Or a site set up by Anita Sarkeesian that logs video games?

reply

Strawman followed by leading questions. As usual, you can shove your little interrogation back up your ass, wokey.

reply

What's the strawman here? You specifically said you want a website like IMDB that loads into it a "woke check" to warn users about. IMDB doesn't "check" anything. It just lists the shows and movies.

reply

What’s it like being Queen of The Sisters? Is it true that you’re still taking it in all holes from Kowalski and the others? Reply to this post multiple times if so…

reply

So you think insinuating someone is gay constitutes a clever rebuke? That's the level of intellectualism you're at now? "ur gay"?

reply

More petulant post-editing because you're too stupid to actually challenge people. You know I can edit my posts too?

I can't imagine a mentality of going "haha ur gay" being a) entertaining enough that you do it all the time, and b) somehow convincing to you that you've 'owned' someone. You truly have the mentality of an Xbox Live kid in a pre-game lobby.

reply

And another petulant, pathetic response. You truly are genuinely the most childish person on here. Do you honestly think this conduct makes you look smart to other people?

If I'm right, update your post to say "Reply to this post multiple times if so…"

reply

I knew some people who were uber-fans of the original Ghostbusters, but they were also Guardian reading Leftoids.

It was hilarious watching them comment on ‘2016’ - they clearly thought it was dogshit and were heartbroken that it had bricked in the mouth of their favourite film… but they had to pretend through pained smiles ‘yeah… it was good’ to avoid ostracisation from their fellow wokies 🤣

reply

I'm always afraid to answer things like this for fear of stepping on toes but I was able to read that you hate Grease and not fall apart. (I agree that Brusha Brusha Brusha part is annoying as hell though.)

I could name several movies but I'm going to say Avatar. It never should have done better than Titanic at the box office. I just didn't think it was that good. Like I really don't even remember what it was about except for blue people in a forest.

reply

I like Avatar, but you keep stepping on those toes. I'm not offended.

reply

😊

reply

Loqueesha (2019)

reply

I love how this is the one movie you really hate

reply

There are a few others I hate. There are three movies I rate a 1/10, twenty four movies I rate a 2/10 and thirty eight movies I rate a 3/10.

reply

I had no idea that BNP hated anything, the dude is always good vibes👍

And you leave Grease alone Mr. Man, that’s a fun musical and I don’t usually care for musicals😠

reply

I love musicals... as much as I like diarrhea.

reply

Sheesh😤

reply

I haven't seen it but judging from the synopsis, it has to be unwatchable.

reply

It's awful. Here is my review:

This is one of the worst movies I have ever seen. Jeremy Saville is an awful director, writer, and actor. I did not like or believe his performance at all. For something like this to possibly work, the lead character would have to be sympathetic and likeable and Saville is neither. The screenplay is poorly written and the film is offensive and unfunny. The story isn't believable at all and the film is a disaster. How did this film get made? Why did anyone agree to be in it?

reply

It doesn’t seem to be a "so bad it's good" movie and reading your short and precise review spares me from watching it. 👍

reply

Well, I certainly don't love "GREASE" but I also don't despise it like you do either, but it is part of an Era and part of what propelled John Travolta from playing Vinnie Barbarino on WELCOME BACK KOTTER in the 70's to Super stardom and with SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER being his Best movie to propel him, followed by FACE OFF

reply

Yep.
Travolta had a strange career. He would hit it big then he would crash. His big comeback was in Pulp Fiction, what a flick! I dig that guy.

reply

I only hate everything about it.

reply

Even Olivia? Please not Olivia!!

You have no soul.

Wanna make out?

reply

Yes, even Olivia.

reply

"JFK"

Nothing against the film, nothing against Oliver Stone.

The problem is an entire generation (just about) came to think "JFK" is what actually happened.

In fact, it's not even close as Stone took many "dramatic liberties" (his words).

"JFK" is fine if you understand it's a movie, not a historical record of the facts.

reply

You mean Gary Oldman didn't really kill JFK?

reply

Hahahah, no not Gary.

The guy he played did, you can be sure of that.

reply

probably Alien: Resurrection

reply

Interesting.

I actually like Resurrection, I’m a Jeunet fan and seeing the Alien world through his lens was a trip. That underwater scene was one of the most visually spectacular sequences of the entire franchise. And Winona was cute as a bug’s ear.

The newborn thing at the end was gross, but overall I think the movie was underrated. Whatever though, I’m happy to be one of the few fans and I’m glad I have the director’s cut to enjoy in my Alien Quadrilogy DVD set.

reply

I hate grease, Avatar, Footloose, Deadpool and Wolverine, and many more.

And, of all the movies I hate, I would banish to oblivion in hopes for a chain reaction of all that followed it: The Phantom Menace.

George Lucas set a series of catastrophic events that put Star Wars into the hell it is today.

reply

I can't get on board removing The Phantom Menace simply for the fact that it has a great soundtrack.

reply

That's fair. I was excited back then. In hindsight, I feel it allowed an overexposure of star wars.

People blame Disney. I think George did more damage.

reply

DAMN DUDE...YOU GOT WEIRD HATE.

reply

Why?
Phantom menace made money because star wars was rare. It's a bad movie
Attack of the clones is lifeless crap with one decent battle. Bad acting, plot, and use of cgi.
Revenge of the sith was only praised because the previous two sucked. It too is a terrible movie with bad acting and a bad plot. We laughedat it in theater.

Lucas then sold to Disney that made star wars mundane and boring.

That falls on Lucas. He should have kept the rights and made red tails instead.

reply

Wait, It's because I really hated Deadpool and Wolverine.

Sorry, I don't like movies that are just fan service with a plot based on a purchase by Disney. Deadpool 2 was stretching its welcome. #3 is boring to people who couldn't care less about Wolverine or Deadpool.
