Today show rudeness
When I was a young man (I am 73 as of this post), news anchors and journalists respected each other. In interviews, they posed a question to the interviewee and then remained quiet so the person could answer the question.
People like Charles Kuralt and Walter Cronkite were respectful to fellow journalists and guests.
I have noticed a disturbing trend of hosts not letting the guest finish a sentence before they have to interject a thought of their own, as if to say "Your thought is less important than mine"
Nowhere is it more apparent than on "The Today Show".
Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie gush over EVERY guest they talk to, but in the same breath, make it hard for a guest (and even their own co-anchors) to finish their thought before they interrupt them to get their point across.
What has happened to good manners?
I think a lot of those media people need to brush up on their etiquette.
