I don’t think I know any of her songs at all. I might listen tomorrow at work, though.

reply

"Tidal" and "When the Pawn..."?

My ‘to listen to’ pile is in alphabetical order, so: -
Rod Stewart
Sum 41
Thunder
Travis
Vampire Weekend
Rufus Wainwright
Paul Weller
Jack White
Wishbone Ash
Neil Young

reply

HAS ANYONE EVER LISTED ROD STEWART RIGHT BEFORE SUM 41?....THAT IS AWESOME.

reply

My OCDness means that when I buy stuff, I have to listen to it in alphabetical and chronological order. When I get to the end, I go back to ‘A’ and carry on (my ‘to listen to’ pile is always around the 200 mark).

The stuff I’ve listened to gets put in the ‘to file pile’ in The Kingsvault.

reply

THAT IS VERY CLOSE TO HOW I MANAGE MY MOVIE COLLECTION....UNTIL THE LST FEW YEARS ANYWAY....I HAVE GOT TO FOCUS ON SHELVES SOON....MY COLLECTION IN BOXES IS KILLING ME.

reply

You said that ages ago. Too many 2024 stoner comedies to watch instead.

reply

BUILDING SHELVES FOR MY MOVIES IS LOW ON THE PRIORITY LIST....I NEED TO MAKE THE TIME THOUGH.

reply

Heaven knows where you'll find the time.

reply

ENERGY IS MORE PRECIOUS THAN TIME THESE DAYS.

reply

Which one will you concentrate on first, time or energy?

reply

BENNY MUSO'S MOM.

reply

When people mention moms they are usually talking about sex stuff.

Why are you thinking about sex stuff when you have shelving to install?

reply

You tell him! He’s been procrastinating for years now - those shelves ain’t gonna build themselves!

reply

😂JEEZ

reply

You’ve been saying that for ages. Just do a little bit each week, even if it’s just 1 hour. The hardest part is getting started - it’s just a mental block - because you think that the job is too big, but if you make a start, you’ll be surprised.

reply

YEAH...AND FOR THE AGES I HAVE BEEN SAYNG THE PILE HAS GROWN LARGER REQUIRING MORE SHELVING....GETTING STARTED IS DEFINITELY THE HARDEST PART....I AM GOING TO MAKE A CONCERTED EFFORT TO GET STARTED THOUGH....MENTAL BLOCK BE DAMNED...I WANT ALI TO BE ABLE TO SEE AND ENJOY THE COLLECTION BEFORE SHE HEADS OFF FOR COLLEGE.

reply

Rod Stewart but no Faces? Paul Weller but no Jam? Jack White but no White Stripes?

reply

All 3 are new releases.

reply

Makes sense. I was wondering why you were choosing so many solo artists over their bands.

reply

Rod Stewart with Jools Holland - Swing Fever
Paul Weller - 66
Jack White - No Name

reply

As part of a discussion with a friend, I was digging in yesterday, trying to find Michael Jackson/Prince tracks that still sound great today.

Generally, it's classic rock - Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, The Who.

Otherwise, it's whatever pops into my head.
