Or maybe they liked what they heard and felt it was deserved. You didn't listen to her album or the others nominated in that category so how can you say the others were "far more deserving"?

She made the right decision not attending.
Michelle was the former first lady almost a decade ago. She doesn't have to be there. And it was disrespectful of Trump not attending Joe Biden's inauguration 4 years ago.
Why? Perhaps they had a conversation and came to that agreement.
I don't know why people care if Michelle attends or not. She left the White House almost a decade ago. Jill Biden is the current First Lady and it's her job to be there for the transition.
She became an American citizen 20 years ago. Gained her dual citizenship, I should say.

I am black actually and I knew what you were implying when you said "talks white", because I was accused of the same nonsense growing up.
I know black people who come from all different walks of life and economic statuses. We're not a monolith.
Speaking clearly and correctly, dressing well and living in nice neighborhoods isn't exclusive to white people.
I haven't gotten to any graphic sex (or sexual assault) scenes yet, but I heard something about a "tiger" scene that's particularly controversial.
