RVs, Campers, Camper Vans, etc.

I have become obsessed with RVs, campers, campervans, airstreams, truck campers and the like. I've watched a lot of YouTube videos of them and even as a child enjoyed walking through my neighbor's camper. Seeing how so much can be fit into such a small space, often in miniature, is like working a fascinating puzzle to me.

1.Have you ever stayed in one of the aforementioned places? If yes, did you like it?
2. Would you want to live in one of them or at least stay for a weekend?

I've stayed in an Airstream camper in the mountains twice (through Airbnb) for a weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Been fooling around with them my whole life. Sometimes I weekend in them, sometimes I live in em full time. Currently rocking a cargo trailer I converted into an RV with all the necessary stuff and none of the nonsense. They are costly and a super pain in the ass, and can be time consuming to set up and break down. But they're a total blast. Half your day becomes f'n with the RV, they require constant diddling and maintenance. I think that's why old timers like em so much. Mostly use mine these days to stay at the ocean. Got a nice state park here right on the beach. I'll set up there for a week or two and just swim and fish and get down with nature. Get that kayak bouncing. I got the bug back in the day when my brother set me up in his pop up camper and even though that thing was horrible, it was just the most magical good time. So if you already like it, you probably love it. It's extra radical when you take it to a music festival.

That actually sounds pretty amazing and I think if you really find campers fascinating, tinkering with them like you say can be half the fun.

Used to drive all over the country delivering various models of this RV (Mobile Traveler) from the factory to dealerships. https://www.reddit.com/r/RVLiving/comments/jpgwer/just_bought_this_1978_dodge_tradesman_mobile/ I was home at most, maybe two days between runs. So, I basically lived in these things and out of a suitcase for a while. It was a fun and interesting experience, often more of an adventure than a job.
