I'm conflicted on this.. On one hand, I always enjoy a Mike Tyson fight, even the 1st Holyfield fight but aside from needing more $$$$ I suppose, I'm not sure what he gains from fighting this Youtuber?? 🙄
Jake Paul is training too, a pretty good low-experience fighter, good right hand.
I think MT deconstructs him in a round or two. But with boxing, sometimes one is surprised. If JP can stretch it out into later rounds, he's got a chance.

Yeah, you are “weird”.
With my quotation marks I marked quotes from this thread.
You quoted your buddy ShogunofYonkers with his repeated "weird" in other threads. 😎

As you said , money is enough of a reason for Iron Mike, even if he shows up Rusty Mike….
Nothing against the Jake Paul train, but if Crazy Mike from the Catskills wants to derail this ride, I’m cool with it. Paul can lose to Kid Dynamite and still may be able to milk cash from his minions fighting YouTubers and washed former MMA dudes….
You pickin’ your NY brother here, uncle shogs? The Brownsville Bruiser may be too old. The Bed-Stuy Bomber may be out of ammo. The Baddest Man on the Planet could become the Saddest Man on the Planet if he loses to this 20-something social media sensation.
No hate on Paul though. Get yours. You play, and people want to pay, go for it.
For Tyson’s sake, I hope he can pull it off for no other reason than his respect for boxing history. That sumo wrestler that “fought” Muhammad Ali? Imagine if that sumo dude won? Even for a sport historically rife with corruption, skullduggery and bullshyt, that would’ve been embarrassing . Shyt, Tyson Fury will never live down the split decision to Ngannou, even though Ngannou is a strong and bad-ass beast of a muthafucka….
Fuck it, it’s boxing, it’ll always be a shyt-show….move along….
I respect Tyson's power and he still looks like a big threat even at age 57.
His personal behavior and history I do not respect at all. Frankly, after a rape conviction and biting off a guy's ear in the ring it's sort of informative of how full of shit ALL sports are that Mike even gets another gig.
Tyson is a creep but he should demolish this youtube guy, a guy that actually can fight on an amateur level.
Yes, you read that right. Mike Tyson actually tried to fight a silverback gorilla for $10,000.
Tyson's always been an animal lover. He likes his pigeons and famously owned and cared some cats. We're not talking about your ordinary domestic pets; we're talking exotic tigers.
However, he once wanted to fight an animal. Not just any animal but a f**king gorilla.
In the 80's, when Tyson was an unbeaten heavyweight-wrecking machine, he went to a zoo with his then-partner Robin Givens.
He had the whole zoo to himself after paying them to keep it open after it had closed.
As he sauntered past the gorilla enclosure, he noticed a gorilla picking on the other primates."
Any normal human being would've walked past without batting an eyelid. But Tyson isn't your ordinary human. He took offence and wanted to enter the exhibit. As you do...
But he didn't just want to walk in. Oh no, this is Tyson after all, he wanted to have a fight with the gorilla.
He was prepared to offer the zookeeper $10,000 to open the cage so he could go in there to smack a gorilla.
"I paid a worker at New York's zoo to re-open it just for me and Robin," said Tyson.
"When we got to the gorilla cage there was one big silverback gorilla there just bullying all the other gorillas.
"They were so powerful but their eyes were like an innocent infant. I offered the attendant $10,000 to open the cage and let smash that silverback's snotbox! He declined."
Ok, to a normal human being, we fear Mike Tyson in every way we can think of and would not want to piss this man off or run into him in a dark alley, but no matter how large and in impeccable shape he was in at age 19, that Silverback Gorilla would tear him limb from limb without much effort, but duly noted..
I dunno. I remember this movie really getting to me when I was young https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y5QLvoLxSow I also read the book afterwards. I can't remember that ending, but I do remember interpreting this ambiguous movie ending as the rest of the troop accepting him as their alpha male because of the quiet manner in which they converged on him.
