I'm conflicted on this.. On one hand, I always enjoy a Mike Tyson fight, even the 1st Holyfield fight but aside from needing more $$$$ I suppose, I'm not sure what he gains from fighting this Youtuber?? π
Do we happen to know where this is being televised, like if it's going to be on Pay Per View if that still even exists since I haven't had Cable TV in years or on a streaming service?? On one hand, I'm conflicted on paying any good $$$$ to see this, but then there's the part of me that wants to see Iron Mike smoke this young man just after seeing him train at being 58?? π€
"...I'm conflicted on paying any good $$$ to see this..."
I did the Pay Per View thing once for one of his fights. Had a couple of buddies come over. Plenty of beer and food in the house. We were all psyched up at the beginning of the fight when Tyson just walked up on the guy and knocked him out cold within seconds. I was ambivalent about that. While it was mind blowing to see, it was also a disappointment, felt like a waste of money.
I watched the same fight, if it was the same one I'm thinking of?? It was Mike Tyson VS Michael Spinks?? Back in 87 or 88 around there.. Cost $36.00 for the Pay Per View.. I picked up the tab of course.. The main event comes on, they introduce the fighters and while doing so, I decide to go to the bathroom.. 5 minutes later, I come back and it's over.. I paid for a fight I basically never saw except in the highlights and replay
Well at least that was between two good fighters. This one is old Mike Tyson vs Jake Nobody Paul. Since I have Netflix...I may watch it...only if it's free though.
