❓ What would you do?
What would you do if you came home and the front door to your house or apartment was open? Would you go in?
I wouldn't. I'd call for help, and I don't even watch horror movies.

I'd assume I'd left it open and walk in. My place is small, so I'd know if someone was inside the second I stepped in and could easily step back out, shut the door and call the cops. I keep a spare brick near the entrance, so that would be used on them the moment they tried coming out through the front. And it's hard to get away using the back entrance - I know because I've considered how in the heck I'd escape if there was a fire and I couldn't go out through the front, so they'd be hindered by a multitude of obstacles, including my neighbours on both sides, and wouldn't be able to escape without being filmed and or stopped. Definitely couldn't escape with anything they'd stolen.
share🤔 I may have to adopt your idea of having a brick handy...
Still, I don't think I'd go in because I'd never leave my door open, so if I came home and found it that way, I'd call for "reinforcements" and wait at a neighbor's house.
I live in an old flat, so the door being left open or even being blown open (wind is crazy strong here) isn't too farfetched. Also, I live in between two other flats, so it would be pretty unlikely for a thief to target me, the middle guy, out of the three. And I'm on pretty good terms with one of my neighbours, who's lovely but also quite nosy, so if someone had gone in that he didn't recognise, he'd let me know before I ever made it to the door. If I lived in a better neighbourhood in a house, I'd be much like yourself if this happened: on high alert. It's an old brick flat, so the loose brick near the door never warrants much attention, that's why it's kinda perfect, would recommend lol.
shareReluctantly, I would go in
shareWith what? A baseball bat? A golf club? A gaff hook? A rock? A steel bar? A tire iron? Or...?
shareI have a small 2 bedroom condo and when you walk in, basically, you'll know if someone is in there and I will be prepared for them.. I'm very fast, damn strong and I'm sorry for the individual I walk in my home and catch there.. They won't make it out alive I assure you.. I don't need a knife or a gun either, simply my bare hands will do
shareI get it. I really do.
