if women wear makeup....
can men wear fake muscles, and lie about thier savings account? :D
shareThe best is the pants with the fake butt in them.
I just think of the poor bastard that gets a flat ass surprise when the pants drop.
hahaha there's that too.
I dated a gal with "enhanced" bras, and she was very embarassed when the time came for the big reveal, but we were in a real relationship so that never mattered.
I should find a totally ripped body suit, go hit some bars, and get the whole thing filmed :D Might be hilarious how it goes
Sounds reasonable.
🤨
Not really equivalent, but technically yeah men can do this, even if women don't wear makeup, it's very doable.
sharewhat is the point of makeup?
shareIt's creative and makes us look better. It sounds like you think women are trying to pull off something which IMO is ridiculous. If you can't figure out that a woman will probably look somewhat different w/o makeup - then I'm not sure why?
Not all women wear so much makeup that their appearance is dramatically altered, but it's pretty obvious who they are. Just avoid them if that bothers you so much.
It's AAALLLLLLLLL 100% right there in your first sentence: "makes us look BETTER".
you got to deep dive about the "better", what/why/how and for who?
it's sexual attractant, bottom line. easy proof: compare most lesbian makeup to porn star make up. then understand their roles. then, look at what makes make up "Better" for. I know people don't like hearing or facing it, but that doesn't make it not true.
same reason guys flaunt muscles and money.
Wtf is "lesbian makeup" and what's its role? lol
shareOh please, maybe it's something as simple as blotchy skin or blemishes that need to be covered - maybe the have pale lashes that require mascara.
There is a huge difference in "looking better" and looking glamorous.
It sounds like you think women are trying to pull off something which IMO is ridiculous
Historically, it was originally thought to create an appearance that was close to godliness. It was also used in a lot of rituals and ceremonies, both cultural and religious. Later, it was used in theatre to make men appear more feminine, since women weren't allowed to be actors. But generally speaking, makeup is used to create an effect, just like wearing a plain tie creates a certain effect and wearing a neon tie with little green aliens on it creates a totally different effect. It's also an art form, it's really fun and it makes people feel better about their appearance.
Calling it a sexual attractant is silly because we don't think of paintings as sexual attractants, and most people aren't sexually attracted to kids face paint, clowns or horror makeup (though some are ig). But even if it were, I'm wondering how that's a negative, are people not allowed to try and attract others sexually? Makeup is for men and women, so no one's being left out of sexually attracting anyone if that's your intention while wearing, so I'm not sure how this is a bad thing. The "lesbian" makeup versus "porn" makeup (I'm assuming both of these are coming from porn anyway) makes no sense, that's not real life, and makeup worn by women is usually meant to be praised by other women, so are we assuming most makeup users are lesbians anyway?
wearing a tie color and painting lips wet red are very different. people just don't like this fact being pointed out.
and things get lost concerning "BETTER". What is the measure of "Better"? Better for who? You LIKE the red lips... makes you better at what... being prettier? Prettier for who? people like to peter off the follow through on that. meanwhile all of science says stuff like, "Red is perceived by the opposite sex as more virile" and stuff like that.
women like to hide behind the "I look BETTER for MYSELF" without acknowledging why better IS a thing. yet, the needle leans more towards "More sexually attractive" side, than more towards "Less sexually attractive" side. I just don't understand why people don't understand and accept this?
go to any bar at night where the girls go [again, in quotes because it is simply lies to themselves] "just to meet up with FRIENDS", and note how many wear MORE makeup than regular, and how many wear LESS makeup. This speaks volumes about reality.
Yeah, no. Men do NOT wear make up to attract women. Maybe there are tiny pockets of people who do, and tiny pockets of women who would seek that, but its by far not the majority of normal human behavior.
Can you share what your exact issue with make up is? Not what scientists say, or how women wear various amounts of it for various occasions, or what better does or doesn't mean. What *your* precise issue is with it.
As well as, do men by and large like women who wear heavy make up more or less than women who don't?
please read the original post, and don't add in some personal bent I'm supposed to have. I don't.
if women wear makeup....
can men wear fake muscles, and lie about thier savings account? :D
where TF do you get that >>I<< have some issue with makeup from that? Typical internet garbage.
if women can FAKE who they are, can men FAKE who they are?
it's so simple. Has nothing to do with MY personal interest. If you care, I love women's makeup. Without it, they look like my brother. Happy?
Do men like... again, simple answer. Why does only fans and porn work so well? Do the math there, and you will have your answer.

shareNote that I didn't say "look" better, I said "feel" better. Because better is subjective, I agree, but I'm talking about the psychology of colour theory and the psychology behind self-perception. And yes it absolutely is the same as wearing clothing because wearing heels and wearing slippers make you feel different. Drag queens often state that they feel more powerful and dominating in feminine clothing, makeup and heels than in power suits, and it shows. Then, when you try to apply the "but they're doing it to appear more sexually attractive though" school of thought, it doesn't work, so that's just not an accurate perspective. It's almost seems like you've trying to shoehorn that idea onto reality when it clearly isn't fitting because you can't conceive that there could be any number of other reasons why people wear makeup.
I feel like you're close though, because women going to bars and wearing more makeup is about boosting self-confidence and also about looking more intimidating to men so they don't approach you. That you're only able to view their actions through the lens of "this is clearly for men" aka "they're doing this for me" is a bit of a narrow perspective. They're doing it because they're going to be around a lot of drunk and therefore brutally honest people, including their friends, and they want to feel more secure in their appearance, that's it. Women put as much effort into looking good at a friendly brunch, there's just less drunk men there.
Add onto that the fact "natural makeup" is probably the most popular right now, and that more extreme makeup clearly is either ultra feminine or very alternative, what's sexual about that? Everyone has physical insecurities, using makeup to soothe those insecurities is personal. If people treat you better because of it, that's a bonus, but it rarely has anything to do with sexually attracting anyone, that's what showcasing cleavage and short skirts are for.
so it's ok if men wear fake muscles, and exaggerate bank accounts to feel better, boost their own confidence. got it.
shareAgain, it's not equivalent because wearing makeup isn't lying, but yes it's okay that men wear fake muscles if they get a confidence boost from it. However, lying about money will have a negative long-term impact on whoever is being lied to, whether that's a partner, family, friends, etc. And why are we pretending men don't lie about their appearance and lifestyles all the time? Men lie about height, their job, having a car or not, living alone or with parents or friends, etc. It's okay to be honest too, coz again, wearing makeup isn't lying just like wearing clothes that make you look slimmer or taller or accentuate your body in a certain way isn't lying.
And again, doing something for female attention versus just doing it to feel better are different things.
I can agree to disagree.
There are no porn sites or only fans that specialize in NO MAKE UP. the reason is what my post was about.
How were you expecting to gauge a well reasoned response when that was the premise, and the premise was veiled? If you want to discuss porn sites, that's fine, but be upfront about it from the start. Porn is fictional, anyone can do anything within reason and with the consent of others, though I'm not sure how lying about personal savings plays into this premise.
shareIt's not veiled at all. I just used sites demonstrating the purpose of make up is all.
It's about exciting the opposite sex. Pretty much most of life is.
My post is contrasting the methods. Because men and women are very different.
Does it matter? And why think about it too much?
sharenot sure you truly are tracking with the topic
shareWell...
I consider women making, sorry, WEARING make-up to be natural and normal. Men with fake muscles, well, its on them sometimes and under some occasions it may be OK but I can understand mentally why its different and not as common.
Lie about their bank account? Why is that necessary and even so, don't see how it could be in either quite the same field. I sometimes MISTAKENLY say how much money I think I have but have no real reason OR desire to say exaggerate my bank account statements, and here it just isn't nice, appropriate or useful.
And why the fact that women wear make-up is at all, err, "trouble some" or "concern-worthy" for some people, why does it matter at all?
What else and HOW else should I be "tracking" this topic?
P.S. 123Guy - are you ever going to make a thread about say heroes and villains in real life not existing unlike movies, and heroes for the most part especially not win, and if its normal or frustrating? Or lack of happy endings in life? Or how life and films differ? Or are you too mature for all that - and probably find such topics vacuous and intellectually empty for your err "taste"?
yeah, you missed it.
step 1: men and women are very different and attracted by different things
premise: women wear make up to be attractive to the opposite sex. promotes species continuation and all that. woman with [FAKE] bright red lips is more attractive than the one without that enhancment. fact. science. reality. truth. uncontestable.
men go to gym to grow muscles [OR WEAR FAKE ONES PER MY QUERY] and/or boast good income via bragging, clothing, purchases, car, because these are more attractive to women. the man with muscles and cash [FAKE?] is more attractive than the one without. fact. science. reality. truth. uncontestable.
thus I postulate: if women are allowed to FAKE how they are [makeup], are men allowed to FAKE how they are? [muscles money]
its no deeper than that.
PS no clue what you are on about heroes/villians real life yadda yadda
men go to jim to grow muscles
DOES JIM SELL STEROIDS?🤔
