Retired and four years into a working my money gig.
Probably stay in New York despite the taxes and oppressive gun laws but possibly down by the GULF OF MEXICO.

shareI hear a lot of Californians are frootloops, I'd have to live up in the hills in a secluded area like the Grandpa in The Lost Boys to live there. I don't think New Yorkers adapt well except for Florida which has a hell of a lot of relocated New Yorkers. The attitude is about the same.
We should both retire and join forces in Nashville, I hear it's pretty happening!

shareYou know, my oldest sister and her (2nd) husband had an RV about 8 years ago and they ended up selling it. They're a lot of work (and not always easy to drive)...after seeing what they went through, I doubt I'll get an RV.
I don't know how much I'll travel in retirement. The older I get, the more I'm turning into a "homebody." I don't want to spend Winters in Florida, for example (although I wouldn't mind spending a week or so there). I definitely want to be active physically (golf and walking, primarily). And hopefully still posting on MovieChat also (which I hope you are also!)! 😃
I AM JUST ABOUT TO HIT 40K...AS SOMEONE WITH EXTREME OCD...THAT IS A MAJOR ACHIEVEMENT...BUT...I AM ALREADY THINKING ABOUT 50K...AND 100K...BY THE TIME THEY PUT ME IN THE GROUND THIS WILL BE CALLED KOWALSKICHAT.
