Which American City would you recommend visiting

For a vacation.

Detroit

Signed, million man.

Detroit is nice, but I think Baltimore has more charm.

None. Better cities elsewhere to visit.

If you're looking for fun - San Antonio. Love the Riverwalk and it's close enough to the gulf for a few days at the beach.

reply

Maybe but Texas?

reply

Not sure what's wrong with Texas? I don't like spending much time in one place, so 2 days there and 2 days at the beach sounds perfect to me.

reply

I lived in San Antonio for 6 months. After you've been to the Riverwalk and the Alamo it's all over, there's nothing else to do.

reply

I went to a concert there a few months back. We went to the riverfront, the Alamo and hit about 5 vinyl record stores there. I did enjoy the city and I’d definitely go back.

Lived in Boston for two years. Amazing town. Easy to walk (including walking the Freedom Trail), tons of history, great food, great sports, very safe, lots of activities, great shopping, and cool places nearby (Cape Cod, Salem). You don't need a rental car with the subway that extends through the entire state. The airport is right next to downtown.

reply

Great city. I've always liked the Cape Ann area.

I live in Chicago, but would love to visit Detroit or Milwaukee. I have never been on the Metro train. Another adventure to explore. I would also recommend Chicago as a tourist destination. Great museums and other areas of interest. In addition beautiful Lake Muchigan.

reply

Do you have a valid passport?

reply

If your talking to me, yeah.

reply

Ever heard of Fresno?
Good.
So pretty much any city but that one.

I haven't traveled too much.

I've enjoyed my time in Madison, Wisconsin, though. Except for that time a dudebro bouncer thought it'd be funny to throw me out of State Street Brats for no reason at all. There are a fair number of dudebros around, but that's true of any big college town, except for all female colleges.

I had to look that up
dude bro
White suburban males, usually 16-25 years of age, hailing from anywhere, USA. Characterized by their love of College football, pickup trucks/SUVs, beer, cut off khaki cargo shorts, light pink polo brand shirts (with collar "popped"), abercrombie & fitch, hollister gear, and trucker hats. Favorite bands include, but are not limited to, O.A.R., Jack Johnson, Dave Matthews Band, Avengened Sevenfold, The Fray, and often crappy radio rap (i.e. Nelly, Dem Franchize Boyz, D4L, etc.). Dude bro's are incredibly insecure in their manhood, which makes them: insanely jealous of their girl friends, overly macho, and laughably homophobic. currently, there is no cure for being a dude bro.
6 out of 10 guys at any predominantly white mall in america.

a "dude" can be positive,
a "bro" can also be positive,
but a "dude bro" is never a good thing.
