Do you think tattoos are trashy and think less of someone with them?
I think it depends. A small simple one is fine.
But a full body tattoo screams douchebag.

I have never looked at someone and thought "Wow, they look so much better with the tattoos!".
No, everyone who gets tattoos looks worse than they did before. Not necessarily trashy, but damn. Sometimes, hell yeah trashy!
I have mixed feelings about it, because our culture has changed to the point where even nice, everyday, middle-class people sometimes have a tat, but often they keep it hidden, or it's peeking out from under their clothes somewhere.
It used to be that only punks, rock bands, gangs, criminals (is that being redundant with the gangs?), and scary bikers had a ton of tattoos back in the day. But that changed after 2000, when tattoos became cheaper and easier to get.
I have noticed, however, that the number of tattoos a person has corresponds with class, still. Quite often I notice that the higher in class a person is, the less tattoos they have, with some not having any at all (like myself). The lower class they appear to be, the more they have on their bodies. There are exceptions to this rule, of course, like a high-class person with a tattoo mural on their body, or a blue-collar person with no tats at all.
🤣
shareIn my experience, plenty of privileged people have tattoos.
Tattoos are not a sign of whether someone is poor/lower-class. No, they merely *make* people look poor/lower-class (and, guess what? Some idiots *want* to look poorer/more lower-class than they actually are. Fucking morons...)
"Oh, poor widdle me. I have enough money to waste on shitty body-art that's going to look even worse when I wrinkle/lose weight/put on weight."
Also, aren't tattoos actually a sign of white privilege? I rarely see many Black people, particularly dark-skinned Black people, with tattoos. It's mostly people with quite fair skin.
These fucking idiot self-defining 'libs' and 'iconoclasts' might as well have a fucking Swastika on their lilly-white skin.
PS: Traditionally, Judaism, in accordance with the Torah, forbade tattoos. Another sign of white supremacy, me thinks.
Fuck trashy, fake-poor, WHITE SUPREMACIST tattooed MFs. 😠👊🏼
Similar to people who do drugs are considered "low-class" and live in slum neighborhoods. Yet there are PLENTY of rich, upper class suburban folks who engage in cocaine and other hard sh!t.

Yeah, but they wear different styles and more expensive clothing. Just ask everyone in the LA Basin and the surrounding bedroom communities.
shareDepends whether it's a man or woman and the number and location(s)...
shareYes. I think less about their taste
shareYes, and sometimes.
shareDepends on the person, the tattoo, the placement, and the amount of tattoos.
Generally speaking, a lower class of person normally gets them. It's drawing on yourself, and I'm against that.
But if someone hires an actual tattoo ARTIST, and has art on their body that looks good and compliments them, I'm a fan.
Some tattoos are good. Most aren't.
I'm in the military and Tattoos are so common it's odd when you don't have one.
